Yesterday

8:30 am DH calls and said they are sending him to VA and didn't know when he'd be able to come home. Ok. I can deal with that, least he still has a job.

~10:00 am DH calls and said he has to leave Monday (our anniversary) instead of Tuesday. Ok. Fine. I can deal with that.

~11:00 am Dh calls and asked for my cc number so he can book his flight. He doesn't like the travel agent in the office, lol.

~noon I go to my tanning appt.

~12:15 pm Dh meets me, convinces me to go out to eat instead of sack lunch. Oh great, there goes my recent weight loss.

~1:45 pm DH calls and said he can't get the cc number to go through. Asked me if I could double check the number. Uhhhh, ok, credit card is now missing from my purse.

Sitter also called and said Kylie has mysterious bumps on body. I called doc. Dh was going to take her in at 4:20 pm.

~2:45 pm I realized I can't find it anywhere and call cc company. They said someone found it and put a hold on it. They said it was a business but didn't know who. HUH?

~4:20 pm Dh takes Kylie to doc. They said it was a viral infection. WHAT THE *#*$#*$*#$. Whatever!

~8:30 pm Kylie is asleep and I've been working on sanding doors/trim. Dh is in basement painting. It was raining outside. I slipped on the concrete and my toenail was completely bent backwards, barely hanging on. OK. Screaming my head off but I'll live. Lots of blood, but ok, this day is almost over with. I can do this. Take care of toe, take motrin, get back to work.

~11:00 pm rolls around. I'm done sanding. I go to bed. Dh continues in the basement with insulation now that he's done painting the den.

~11:40 pm I hear Kylie wimpering on the monitor. I decided to go back to look on her. Don't know why, usually don't unless she's actually crying. I get back there she's gagging on throw-up. Ran to her, screamed for Ryan, got her turned over so she would gag anymore and get her cleaned up.

~midnight We get back to bed, try to go to sleep. Mind you I went to bed at 11:00 pm but it took me til ~11:30 to get to sleep. So I've had NO sleep. Kylie throws up again w/i matter of minutes. This time it's all mucuos. I'm freaking out. DH gives her a bath, cleans her up and bed up again. I call telenurse. They said it would be a 1/2 hour before getting back to me. So Dh and I and Kylie sit in living room watching Maisy.

~get to sleep after about 20 minutes, for Kylie to throw up again.

~12:40 am I realized telenurse still hasn't called back. So I called again. I had given telenurse wrong number. UGH. Great. Kylie throws up 2x while on phone with her. She hadn't wet diaper in almost 8 hours. She advised me to take her to hospital if she hadn't wet by 3 am.

~we get back to sleep again around 2:45 am. She threw up again around 4 am. We get back to sleep, forgot to check her diaper I was so exhausted. Terrible mommy.

~I get up at 6:30 am to get a shower so I could go to work. I have to go, no choice. DH decided he would stay home with her til noon where I would come home then for the day. Dh gave her a sip of water, she threw up. He noticed her diaper was running over (ugh). So he changed it, it's watery bm, but not diarrhea. But we couldn't tell if she had pee'd. OH GREAT. UGH.

~7:30 am. She throws up again.

~8 am I leave for work. I called doc on way to work. They are suppposed to get back to me.

~8:20 am I call Ryan (while on my way to work) to tell him I called doc. Hmmm what is that ringing noise in the car. Oh great, Ryan's cell phone is in this car. We have no home phone so I had to turn around and bring him his phone.

~9:15 am. I'm at work. I'm exhausted and I just want to cry so bad I can't stand it. Doc has still not called me back.

CAN I PLEASE, PLEASE GET A BREAK HERE?????? UGH! I could handle yesterday, but why did it have to run into today. Ok, I'm going to cry on my way home from work, get it all out and hope that it HAS TO GET BETTER.

EDIT: I'm going home here in a bit. Not sure if I will be able to get back on today or when. I hope all of you have a great weekend.

coasterqueen replied: Thanks everyone. Kylie is sleeping right beside me here. She looks so peaceful now that she's not throwing up and can actually sleep.

She hasn't thrown up since this morning, so maybe we are in the clear. Course I've been feeling puny for the last few hours, but hey, I'll take Kylie's sickness so she can feel better.

I think God wanted me to see the humor in all of this, my bad day and a half. I think it may be getting better, but I was thrown one last thing before it got better, lol. My dryer broke and I have loads and loads of blankets, sheets and towels from last night's mess. So when DH gets home from work, I'm headed to the laundry mat.

I'm just going to laugh about it.
