YOUR NOT MY PARENTS!!!!!
MyBlueEyedBabies wrote: Yes that is what Katy was screaming through Sears yesterday...After running away 3 times we made her get in the stroller, that is what she screamed through the store as we were leaving. I am schocked no one stopped us thinking we were kidnapping her.
I was thinking however, we are your parents but your gonna wish we weren't when we get home
gr33n3y3z replied: lol Its funny but its not My John pulled that on me And I told him your going to wish I wasnt your mother And your waiting for cops to come and who ever
MyBlueEyedBabies replied: I was trying not to laugh...but mostly just praying no one believed her
gr33n3y3z replied: the things kids do to us
Sonia replied: My older brother was the melodramatic one in my family and I remember him screaming "help me, you're not my mother" once when he was being taken out of a store for being horrible. My mother was horrified that he would say something like that, but also felt lucky that she knew the security guard and a few store clerks so that they knew he really was her child.
I think little lovelies pick up very quickly on tactics that will make the most impact the quickest and they go for that full force when they aren't getting what they want.
Congratulations to you for not giving in to her and trying to bribe her into being quiet. Too many parents (my sister-in-laws included) do that too often, and now my nieces and nephews think that going to the store means buying cool stuff for them.
Hopefully you had a chance to take a deep breath or two on the way home.
Alice replied: Don't you want to kill them sometimes???
Just keep those photos in your wallet up to date!! And be sure there's one with all of you in it!
mommy2owen replied: Sorry she gave you such a hard time!
MyBlueEyedBabies replied: I have an engraved picture of the 2 kids on my keychain My mom suggested carrying her birth certificate
ian'smommy replied: Ian hasn't said, "you aren't my mother" but he does flop down and yell out, "help me, help me" In the airport I was sure that people would think I was kidnapping him. I keep current pictures in my wallet and since I was in teh airport at the time I also had his birth certificate... The things kids do to us.. :-) To a degree it's sad that no one actually reacts to it... What if the child really was being kidnapped? All those people witness it and don't attempt to do anything.....
MyBlueEyedBabies replied: the only thing I can think of is if it were a real kidnapping the person would probably react to it a little more than the parents who ignore. But I did have the same thought of being somewhat bothered that no one stopped us thinking that it was possible we were kidnapping her.
ediep replied: OMG!!!! Thats funny...but not funny too!!
So sorry she acted that way!
TeagansMom609 replied: OMG I would have just died! LOL, im sure you were waiting for someone to come over and say something. Kids sure know the wrong things to say at the wrong times, in the wrong places!
A&A'smommy replied: UGH I hate it when they act up thank god Alyssa isn't talking like that yet
MommyToAshley replied:
Ok, sorry to laugh, but it is kind of funny in one sense. But, then again, it's not so funny!
I can't believe no one stopped to make sure you were her parents... that is even more scary!
My2Beauties replied: OMG I would have died if Desiree or Hanna ever did that to me, of course Hanna can't talk yet, but man oh man, I agree I would say the same thing, when we get home you'd wish we werent your parents! I was laughing at first because I"m with M2A in one sense it's funny, but in another sense, you guys were probably horrifed someone was going to call the cops on you for kidnapping!
