YAHOO!!! Got my 1st consulting job!

I do political action committee book keeping/reporting for who I work for now, but it's a different side of things. This company is a whole other side of things and it's been about 9 years since I've done that kind of bookkeeping/reporting so I need to brush up before meeting with him on August 15.

The guy caught me totally off guard calling me awhile back and I sounded so unprofessional when talking to him before and today. I've never done the consulting side of things and so I'm NERVOUS. I spoke to him about my fee before and we haven't talked since about when I'll get the fee of what. I'm treading water in new territory here and I feel like I'm drowning! AHHHHHHH!

I'm excited though.

I wish I knew. A little birdie told me to ask for that much. Actually the birdie told me to ask for 2x that much, but I didn't want to push it. I'm still amatuer. Maybe in 6 months I can push the limit.

The question I have is when I'll get the money. I need to figure out how I'm going approach the issue of money with them. It was so long ago when I talked to them I can't remember if I told them the money would be up front. I think I did. Oy! I wish I could remember.

Thanks, but no thanks. I'll do it as a side job, but that's about all I want to do with it. I wouldn't even take it if money wasn't an issue.
