Wow can this child throw a tantrum
5littleladies wrote: Brianna has been throwing temper tantrums on and off for quite awhile but just this past week she has really kicked them into high gear. If she gets mad or doesn't get her way she will give me a look and then throw (and I mean throw) herself on the floor and kick and cry. It is a classic tantrum and it is quickly getting old! Terrible 2's-here we come.
Kaitlin'smom replied: Yes yesterday kaitlin had a full force one herself, she got mad that i would not let her play with my water bottle, she screamed, plopped down with force, and was laying down and scooting on her back, it was kinda funny, but I choose to ingnore her. ( it was hard) but she stopped after about 30sec to 1 minute came over and kissed me, guess that was her way of saying sorry?
Oh boy I hope I dont have to many of them.
This is the one thing I dont look foward to!
booey2 replied: Welcome to the world of toddlers. Thomas is doing that and threw a couple on me this weekend. It was like he was testing us and pushing his limits trying to see how far he could push us. Needless to say we didn't give in and showed him who was the parent here.
MilMunchMOM replied: Ahhhhhh! I am not alone! This is why i love it here. I thought maybe my dd was spoiled rotten. She went through about a month of that, only instead of on the floor she stand there and scream at me "Noooooooo. I don't want to!!!!" thank goodness it seems to have passed. I think this is the time they are testing thier limits for the first time. I kept a firm foot and we very rarely if at all see it anymore. Only if she is extrememly tired! It's worse with girls too! Sean never got that carried away with it.
MomToMany replied: Lots of hugs to you, Jennifer!! BTDT many times! Hannah has thrown a couple good ones, too, but not too often. One day she's just going to explode, and I'm not looking forward to it!
Kirstenmumof3 replied: OMG Claudia has started doing the same thing! And boy does she ever get MAD!
coasterqueen replied: Uh-oh! Kylie can throw a pretty good tantrum, but she is good about throwing fake ones. Those crack me up. She'll squint her eye and make her mouth into an O shape and whine, it's hilarious! I don't know how she possibly came up with it, but she did. I think I'll stick to the fake ones for a bit longer, lol.
5littleladies replied: LOL! Brianna does that sometimes and I think it's hilarious. How doe they figure that out??
A&A'smommy replied: Awwie! I understand about the tantrums when I was keeping my niece all the time she would throw herself down and scream and cry. Well one day she threw herself on a sharp edge and scratched her back, she STILL threw temper tantrums until she got one good spanking and she quit! I'm not saying I recommend spanking I'm just saying that was the only that worked for Savannah. She kept getting hurt when she threw herself down that is why they decided to spank her when she had her tantrum.(btw I didn't do it her mom did.)
kimberley replied: yikes! not looking forward to those years. hope it passes soon for you.
aspenblue1 replied: OMG I know Isabella has been doing that lately. I hope it passes soon.
paradisemommy replied: i'm right there with all you guys. taven is the king of tantrums. what he does though is he'll take off running and slam himself into some corner and pretend to cry or actually cry (i don't know how he gets his big crocodile tears to come down)..lol..it's actually pretty cute (as long as we are in the confines of our own home) but quite embarrassing when you are out in public and he goes limp on the ground
Julie (jem0622) replied: So Gabe has buddies, huh? And for those wondering when it will pass....um....can't really put an age on it. They lessen in time and with developing maturity. Nathan is 4 and still throws them.

MommyToAshley replied: Ashley doesn't throw a tantrum like this, but that almost describes her face when she doesn't want to do something. She will make wrinkle her nose and make her lips in like a closed "o" (almost like kiss lips) and say "ahhhh!" LOL!
They can be stubborn at this age, but it's sooo cute. heehee
mommytosammy replied: Oh boy the tantrum forum. Sammy sure knows how to do those yeppers. You just have to grin and bear it it.
Also the fake tantrum "O" lips and wrinkled nose. Its hilarious isn't it , oh dear. I think sammy must be the queen of tantrums though. Any rebutels
