Would you tell him?

So, I have developed a teeny tiny crush on poor unsuspecting pastor Nate. I was joking with Dh about it, and I told him that Pastor Nate makes me giggle, and that if I ever disappear, he would know exactly where to look for me.

Of course, I would never ever pursue this, its just one of those harmless things. but it got me wondering, do you share that kind of stuff with your SO? or do you think it is best kept to your self?

boyohboyohboy replied: I do share these thoughts with DH, although they are sure few and far between..but he never does, and i have to admit i would be jeolous if he did, double standard i know.

I don't think it would bother me. I would give him a hard time about it tho. My DH never shares that kind of stuff with me either. I guess he never has un-pure thoughts.

well, he's the youth pastor, he is probably around my age, so its not that bad. I may have to volunteer for vacation bible school this year...

lovemy2 replied: Oh boy...you are brave....not only admitting those thoughts but to your DH too - I could see thoughts like this to someone famous that there isn't a shot in you know what of you ever getting close to them but someone in real life who you see regularly...nope wouldn't tell.....he'd freak out..

BTW - the PASTOR at my church is pretty hot too in a dorky kind of way..PHEW glad I got that out

Hillbilly Housewife replied: Sure I would. DH and I, although we've had our issues and are still working at others, have a very strong marriage and we feel secure enough in our relationship to share these thoughts. Yes, we tease each other... it's funny!!

Oh yeah. I think Tim's guitar teacher (17 yrs old) is way cute! I tell him (Tim) all the time while we're watching him play...in church! He just rolls his eyes. He knows he's stuck w/me. Of course he'll tell me when he thinks somebody is "hot". But I'm sure I'm stuck w/him too!

Twelve Volt Man replied: I thought I was the only one. Sometimes, I'll find myself getting distracted in church, and looking around at all the women, picking out the hot ones. I feel terrible about it. Later that night, when I'm at home, I'll drink a beer or two and I end up feeling better. Thanks for making me feel normal.

That's ok, we had a sermon on LUST (Seven deadly sins) and they had the HOTTEST guy on earth (well maybe not) singing and playing violin. Oh be still my heart. ROFL! My cousin, friend and I couldn't believe it. How can you expect us to pay attention when you put HIM up there??????

HuskerMom replied: I wouldn't say anything now. Dh and I were talking a couple years ago about celebrities we liked. Well I happened to mention that I thought The Rock was kinda cute (don't really think so anymore) and he said that he kinda liked Catherine Zeta Jones (although he said he doesn't really think that anymore). Now I don't here the end of it. Everytime we see The Rock on tv he says "there's your boyfriend" so when we see Catherine Zeta Jones I always say "there's your girlfriend". So if he knew I thought the guy from Brothers & Sisters was kinda cute I'd never hear the end of it.

Crystalina replied: I do I have to admit. Just the other day I answered the door and it was a very good looking, cowboy hat wearing (and oh so tight jeans ) guy looking for dh. He needed a phone # that dh had. So I asked dh what the guy had needed and he told me and I said, "I'd be his Yellow pages anytime." He does the same to me. We are comfortable enough with our relationship not to worry about each other. In his line of work (being gone for days at a time) I know I can trust him.

mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied: I wouldn't tell my crush, but I would tell DH. We both laugh about those things! DH has had crushes on girls at work, same with me...so we talk about it and just giggle. Watch out though, my DH would totally tease me right there in church! And I'm totally a beet red in the face type person.
