Worried about the baby.

Crystalina wrote: Since about 9 weeks I've felt the little twinge of butterflies that are baby movements. I can usually only feel them late at night when I'm laying on my back and suck my belly in a bit. It's also been a little uncomfortable to lay on my left side because of the "bloating" feeling. Ever since I turned 12 weeks I no longer feel the butterfly movements and I don't get that uncomfortable bloating feeling anymore. If I walk a lot (like yesterday at the mall) my belly gets hard like it did with all my other pgs and I get that overly stretched feeling but that is it. My morning sickness has subsided a lot but I still get queesy. That's hard to go by because I should be about done with that anyway so that could be the reason. I have no cramping or anything like something may be wrong but I've also read that that doesn't always happen right away. I'm not sure if I should call my doctor or just wait until my next appointment since most people don't feel the baby move until about 16 weeks anyway. I know that when he did the ultrasound the baby was moving like crazy and I didn't feel a thing. huh.gif

Basically I'm not sure if I'm being paranoid or not. dunno.gif

mummy2girls replied: I wouldnt be worried yet. I felt Jordan at 21 weeks, and then Jenna at 12-15 weeks along. And you are still feeling queezy... It still can be the morning sickness because i had it for 5 months with Jenna:O

But if you are really concerned then try to see your OB

grapfruit replied:
Yeah, I don't think morning sickness is a good measure. My friend is due June 26 and still gets sick everyday. Actually her husband made her go to the hospital on Saturday b/c she hadn't been able to keep anything down in days. sleep.gif

Crystal, if it would ease your mind, I say call the dr. That's what they're there for.

luvmykids replied: I think everything is fine but if it would ease your mind, call your dr hug.gif

MommyToAshley replied: It sounds to me like everything is fine. I know my PG changed a lot after the first trimester. I think it is just your body adjusting, but if it makes you feel better, call the doc. When is your next appointment?

lisar replied: I am not sure. But I just wanted to say that if it would make you feel better then call the dr. Thats what you pay them for.

ZandersMama replied: I would say call the doctor just to ease your mind, you will worry about it until you do, and when pregnant, i always say better safe then sorry. It's probabley nothing, but I have a history of crappy pregnancys so i tend to lean on the cautious side.

A&A'smommy replied: I'm sure baby is fine, your just at that part of pregnancy where you don't really feel pregnant and you don't feel the baby a whole lot either. But if it will make you feel better call your dr hug.gif hug.gif KUP

~Roo'sMama~ replied: That happened when I was pg with Alison too - I felt her early on (I think it was 12 weeks) and I could feel her kicking for a week or two and then it stopped for a few weeks. I think she had just changed positions and was facing the wrong way for me to feel her since she was still so small. happy.gif I'm sure everything is fine but if you're worried I'd call your doctor and even see if they can get you in - there's nothing like peace of mind! hug.gif hug.gif

Crystalina replied: Thanks so much everyone. I did indeed call my doctor who had me come in (for my sanity and I'm sure that's it. happy.gif ) and everything is fine. The baby's heartbeat is still going strong. I think I was just in panic mode about it because I really hadn't paid much attention to my body in the last week and then when I realized things have changed I realized it changed about a week ago so it just freaked me out because I was thinking, OMG. I haven't been paying attention and what if something's happened?...I appreciate you all. hug.gif

my2monkeyboys replied: Sorry I missed this post earlier, but I'm glad you went in and got checked. And I'm super glad the baby and mom are still doing fine!! hug.gif hug.gif

A&A'smommy replied: hug.gif hug.gif I think that has probably went through all of our minds at some point.. mine was right around the same time that I was suppose to go get a u/s anyway hug.gif hug.gif I'm glad you went and got check and that baby is ok!! hug.gif hug.gif

babes34 replied: I think you are doing just great. I have this pregnancy disorder hyperemesis gravidarum and I tell you it's like going to hell and back. That's why I only have 2 children and they are so spaced out (4 years gap). sad.gif

luvbug00 replied: glad all was ok hug.gif thumb.gif baby.gif

Swood75 replied: Crystal,I am so glad everthing is ok..I have been paranoid too about my lil' one..I "think" I have felt the baby move a tiny bit a couple times but not for sure though..I have my 1st U/S next Tues and will be so glad to get it done and just hope and pray the baby has a good strong heartbeat etc..I don't know why it seems like I am worrying so much more this time around than with Kam and Kyleigh.. wacko.gif

Kirstenmumof3 replied: hug.gif hug.gif I'm glad that you called your doctor and that everything is okay!
