Worried.

mckayleesmom wrote: oK,,,I have been having these cramps in my left side for a couple weeks. The other day I had an anual pap with my doctor anyways and I mentioned it to him. He did a pelvic exam and said he didn't feel any inflamation or anything and the spot I am getting cramps in is near my bowl. He said that I might be a little constipated. Drink more fluids. Also I changed birth control so he said to give it a week or so and see if the birth control helps. Well tonight dh called me at work and said that my dr called and told him to have me reschedule an exam because my pap results came back abnormal. Now Im freaking out about what it can be. I have heard that alot of women get an abnormal results back sometimes after having babies. Im hoping it was just an error.

CantWait replied: here's hoping it's nothing. I'm sure that's the case. Keep us updated and try not to worry. Hugs grouphug.gif

MomToMany replied: grouphug.gif Hugs to you, Brianne! I've had an abnormal result after having 1 of my kids. Then after another test, it was normal. Hopefully that's all it is. Try to relax a little. I know that's hard to do, I was freaking out a little after mine came back abnormal, too. But for the kids' sake, I tried to stay calm. How soon do you go back?

Kirstenmumof3 replied: grouphug.gif Try not to worry I'm sure that everything will be just fine! grouphug.gif

aspenblue1 replied: Try not to worry. I have had an abnormal one before and it was fine the next time. grouphug.gif

jdkjd replied: I've had a couple abnormal paps with nothing wrong. Try to wait until your hear what the doctor says before getting too anxious...

Kaitlin'smom replied: I know easier said than done but until you have a sceond one done try not to worry and let things run through your head it was probbaly nothing and just the test itself. grouphug.gif

ediep replied: grouphug.gif grouphug.gif grouphug.gif grouphug.gif to you! Try to relax, I hope everything is fine!

DansMom replied: Until you get more information, try not to worry. Like others are saying, an abnormal pap smear isn't necessarily meaningful, they just have to be careful and take a more thorough examination. grouphug.gif

maliksmommy replied: I definately wouldn't worry until you know more. I have probably had more abnormal ones than normal and it always turned out to be nothing. I am sure everything is okay, just try and relax

Maddie&EthansMom replied: I have heard that anything could make it abnormal. I hope it is nothing. Keep us updated! grouphug.gif

MommyToAshley replied: As the others have said, I wouldn't worry until you know more. I am sure it is nothing. Let us know when you find out something!

mckayleesmom replied: Thanks guys...I really hope its nothing....Im still trying to get throught to make an appointment.

5littleladies replied: Yes definitely try to relax! I just heard on the news last night that 2 out of 3 abnormal pap results are false. There are many, many factors that can make it abnormal. Just try to take it easy and don't think about it too much. grouphug.gif

MomofTay&Sam replied: Sending lots of {{{hugs}}} I am sure it's nothing. Please let us know.
