Worried.

MomToMany replied: Hugs to you, Brianne! I've had an abnormal result after having 1 of my kids. Then after another test, it was normal. Hopefully that's all it is. Try to relax a little. I know that's hard to do, I was freaking out a little after mine came back abnormal, too. But for the kids' sake, I tried to stay calm. How soon do you go back?

DansMom replied: Until you get more information, try not to worry. Like others are saying, an abnormal pap smear isn't necessarily meaningful, they just have to be careful and take a more thorough examination.

maliksmommy replied: I definately wouldn't worry until you know more. I have probably had more abnormal ones than normal and it always turned out to be nothing. I am sure everything is okay, just try and relax

5littleladies replied: Yes definitely try to relax! I just heard on the news last night that 2 out of 3 abnormal pap results are false. There are many, many factors that can make it abnormal. Just try to take it easy and don't think about it too much.
