Woo Hoo! heat wave!!!

The best news of all is that Dh has an awards program that I have to go to tomorrow night and I have a thin little spaghetti strap dress to wear, and its gonna be all the way up to 35!!!!! I'm not gonna totally freeze to death in my sandals!

trust me, it feels GREAT compared to the -40 the day before. I guess its all perspective. Its not like i was playing out there for hours and hours or anything, just a quick trip out to the mail box and back. LOL Its 30 out right now, I think I will leave my coat at home today.

I have to ask - what are your summer temperatures like? What do you consider 'shorts weather ' - above freezing?

We get into the lower 100's once or twice a year. when its really hot its about 95. We start seeing shorts in the 40's sometimes, but I don't personally wear them until its in the upper 70's .

AlexsPajamaMama replied: It is a whopping 28 here today, and the sun is shining...I wore a winter coat but not a million layers! I even had the window down in the car and enjoyed some fresh air! Tara it sounds like we have the same type of weather...it gets quite hot in the summer in maine too.
