TrulyBlessed replied: Good Luck!! I quit smoking 2 years ago after smoking for 14 years. During the rough time, just take it minute by minute, hour by hour, don't look at it as forever, it may make it harder. Just tell yourself I will wait one more minute, hour or day.
TrulyBlessed replied: Yeah, you will LOVE the money that you will save. It really does make a difference.

stella6979 replied: I know for a lot of smokers, it's more of an oral fixation kind of thing. When Jeff's Dad quit, he bought some cinnamon sticks and sucked on those for quite a while, just so he had something in his hands. Just a thought. Good luck to you!
A&A'smommy replied: Good luck!!!!!
Boo&BugsMom replied: Lisa, whenever you have a craving just think about how it will affect your kids! They will thank you. Good luck hun! I know it's hard.

Crystalina replied: I quite after doing it for 10 yrs (d/t getting pg) and I'm telling you girl it's the best thing in the world. You'll feel so much better.
lisar replied: I broke down and had another one. But I am still very proud of myself 1 in 24 hours is GOOD for me.
lesliesmom replied: Keep it up. I did the cinnamon stick thing for a while. I really enjoyed it too. The trick is to go to a bulk store and find sticks about the same size as your brand of cigarettes. It tasted good too! They also recommend using mouthwash when you have a craving - especially if you were a menthol smoker.. freshens the breath and gives you that menthol/mint fix. Hang in there! You can do this!
lisar replied: I am doing good, I havent had one since 4pm yesterday and that 22hours without one. That is GOOD for me. I am proud of myself.
