Why do sour/tart things make it feel - like your upper lip is sweating?
luvmykids wrote: Please tell me it's not just me who experiences this
Danalana replied: I've honestly never experienced this, Monica...sorry!
BAC'sMom replied: is it the cold weather Monica
luvmykids replied: No.........ROFL
Ok, really? I was eating chewy Sweet Tarts, but it happens anytime I eat something sour, like a lemon or Sour Patch Kids. I cannot believe nobody else feels like their upper lip is sweating
Danalana replied: Well, only 2 of us haven't...I'm sure there'll be SOMEBODY who will have experienced it!
luvmykids replied: I sure hope so, or I'll feel very silly for posting this
Danalana replied: It just means you're unique! A cold glass of milk would probably help...
Calimama replied: Um NO. Weirdest thing I've heard all day, thanks!
Danalana replied: Way to help her not feel strange!
luvmykids replied: Ok you guys are no help. Just go away
MyBlueEyedBabies replied: Just so you don't feel like quite such a freak...it happens to my MIL
why?? no clue
luvmykids replied: THANK YOU, now I'm even more curious to know why it only happens to some of us I wonder how I would even google this
Danalana replied: "weirdos"
luvmykids replied: Yeah I already tried that.......it said to be more specific
Danalana replied: "weirdos with sweating lips"
Calimama replied:
luvmykids replied: Hmmmmmm.... still nothing
Danalana replied: I'm all out of ideas!
mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied: Sweating????? I guess I just can't picture it. I know I get a 'zap' type feeling on the back of my tongue, but I can't say I've ever had the sweaty lip.
luvmykids replied: I am SO happy......there is actually a name for it
I have a syndrome
Danalana replied: Oh sure! Like you didn't just make all that up!
luvmykids replied: LOL
So there!
Calimama replied: Auriculotemporal syndrome/Gustatory rhinitis?? What's the cure? Deodrant on your lip?
luvmykids replied: ROFL......I can't speak for others with this syndrome, but mine doesn't ACTUALLY sweat, it just feels like it is. Oh you people just don't understand
Calimama replied: You learn something new everyday!!
luvmykids replied: Yeah, like not everyone feels like their upper lip is sweating when they eat sour foods
Calimama replied: Heyyyyy you can get botox injections and they may stop it!!
luvmykids replied: No thanks, I'll just suffer through my sweet tarts
A&A'smommy replied: OMG I'm DYING out laughing... seriously I'm laughing out loud
Monica you crack me up.. and yeah that is TOTALLY the weirdest thing I have ever heard of next to the new term for letting the dough rise
luvmykids replied: Aren't I just a wealth of strange information?!
I might have to start finding weird stuff like this on a regular basis
grapfruit replied: I get this sometimes too.
Danalana replied: Yay! That's 3 people!
Calimama replied: You should start a support group!! JK!
A&A'smommy replied: I think you should
luvmykids replied: YAY! And thank you for coming forward.
My name is Monica, and my upper lip feels sweaty although it isn't when I eat sour foods, and I'm not ashamed
grapfruit replied: ROFLMAO!
So, does anybodies eye lids ever sweat? Upper specifically.
luvmykids replied: Go start your own weirdo thread

Danalana replied: What about tongue sweating? Sometimes I feel like that...
