Why 1st graders should not be allowed to journal - LOL
mom21kid2dogs wrote: Since K, O's school has had them write a journal sentence. In K it was one sentence a day. In 1st grade, it's 3 a day. Today's journal sentances were . . . . My daddy sleeps alone My mommy sleeps with me My dog has to go to the vet
We really can hardly wait for the first P/T conference, now!! (but we are SO saving the journal page!!! )
A&A'smommy replied: awwwww how cute!!!!!
luvmykids replied: Oh lord I hope my kids don't have to do it
That is a keeper for sure
Jamison'smama replied: That's great!!!
All your secrets revealed via journal----can't wait to hear about her next entry.
julesmom replied: Oh, isn't that so annoying!
Wait till 3rd grade. Last year, in 3rd, my ds wrote as though it was his diary!
Maddie&EthansMom replied: I hate to tell you, but it gets SO much better.
This yr (in 2nd grade) Maddie is having to write about her feelings and about what she thinks moms and dads do. OH MY!! At the first parent meeting the teacher said "I don't believe everything I read, just so you know in advance."

luvbug00 replied: Oh man that is soo funny ....embaressing but funny!
MommyToAshley replied: OMG-- LOL -- that is too funny.
I don't think I would want to know all the things Ashley has said to her teachers... if I did, I don't think I could look them in the face. Oh, and now I have to look forward to having it actually written down.
lisar replied: OMG. Lexi does the same thing. Last year she told her teacher about us shooting things (A doe and a buck) and she has already started it this year. She told her teacher and the whole class about the gator and the snakes. Its crazy.
DansMom replied: OMG!! Yes, I'm worried already.
coasterqueen replied: Oh gosh another thing to keep an eye on huh?
