Who's up for trying to plan a meeting?

kit_kats_mom replied: We have been talking about a PC get together at Disney World sometime in 2007. (that's right isn't it? It's been awhile since we discussed it)
That would be about the time that most of the original members kids would be at an age where they'd really enjoy it.

luvmykids replied: Disney sounds fun, but is anyone up for trying to do a "moms weekend" this summer or fall, somewhere more central? Any of the peeps in the vicinity of TX/LA/CO/OK/NM/CA?

Maddie&EthansMom replied: The best thing to do is just set a date and time and go from there. There will be people who can make it and people who can't. At least if we have a date we have something to work towards.

Disney World would be wonderful for so many reasons. Ethan will be 3 and we wanted to wait until he was older, but I think it would be fine if we went now (as in next year) and again when he was older. We are close enough to be able to do that. We can drive in 2 days.

ETA: If any of you are ever out this way I'd love to meet up at anytime!

Disney is good in October or September. I hear it's pretty much vacant and the weather is nice. December, too.

CAMSMOM1 replied: I love the idea! And I live in California, Monica, so that would be great! And Disney World would be nice but I understand what Denise was saying, something less commerical and expensive. But whatever we all decided would be awesome!!!!

holley79 replied: I would love to be able to meet up also but DW would be a little hard with a toddler. Annika will only be about 18 months old or so. I would love to met up though. Nicole we still need to get together and DO LUNCH or something.

I probably wouldn't be able to do Disney though - a little out of the budget and I don't think 2 & 3 1/2 (ages my girls will be next year) are really old enough for us to enjoy it.

BAC'sMom (Jimmie) and I have been kicking around some ideas .... we'll throw some out when it's a little more narrowed down/thought out. That way those of us who can't do DW can still have a shot at some PC meet n greet.
