Whoever invented dishes..
Calimama wrote: Should be KICKED. I make very little dishes and Antonio is only home to eat 1 meal and a snack a day. Soo where do all of these dirty dishes come from? I swear some little dirt fairy sneaks in while we are sleeping and dirty's up all of our clean plates and forks. Now if only that little fairy would learn how to use the dishwasher as well. How often do you wash dishes in your house? And if it's less than twice a day.. can I come live there?
Kaitlin'smom replied: I always wondered how we made so many dirty dishes as well, we run ours once a day, or at least we should.
1lilpeanut2love replied: You don't have a dishwasher? I don't at the current place I live at! I absoutely hate it! I miss my dishwasher!
Calimama replied: I do. I still end up running it twice a day though.
gr33n3y3z replied: I dont know but I wish I were the one who invented them LOL
Yeah I hate dishes also its a never ending thing in our house along with wash
Hillbilly Housewife replied: Uh... I run my dishwasher twice a day.
After lunch it is run with breakfast dishes for 7 people (my family of 5 plus the two daycare kids) plus lunch dishes for 5 people
After dinner it is run with dinner dishes for 5 people, plus whatever pots/pans etc used to make dinner, and anything left over that hadn't gone in the previous load...
I still usually have a few dishes left over here and there though, because I don't always get to unload the dishwasher in the morning (from dinner's run) and so sometimes it gets delayed... and the dishes pile up.
Cece00 replied: We run the dishwasher usually just once a day, sometimes twice.
mom2my2cuties replied: Usually 3 -4 times a day if Andrew isn't cooking - if he is cooking - upwards of 7-9 times
sparkys2boys replied: omg.. 7 to 9 times a day..lol!!! wow!! I ususally have mine go twice a day, but often I will do dishes if there is just a few by hand.
holley79 replied: I think our dishes breed. I have to load the diswasher nightly and run it about every other night.
mom2my2cuties replied: My husband owns a gourmet food company and is always cooking in our kitchen. Be it creating new items or whatever, I seem to get more of the cooking done at our house rather than the bakery
CantWait replied: Our new house has a dishwasher, so I do 1 load in that a day, plus I might wash some here and there throughout. I hate putting them away though.
Days when I'm really lazy, I just eat off paper plates.
Crystalina replied: Dishwashers. I keep forgetting about that invention. I've NEVER had one. That would make my life easier. I don't know why I don't have one other than I just haven't gotten one. They don't even cost that much. Either way...I'm the PaperPlate Queen. I love them and unless DH is home and I'm making something huge then paperplates are the way I go. Hey, I even get paper bowls. Yea, they have those.
sparkys2boys replied: oh..lmao.. makes much more sense now!!! I was going to invite my-self over to dinner, I was thinking he must make a awful lavish meal for you!!!!
Our Lil' Family replied: I hand wash some throughout the day, and if I'm too lazy to unload the clean ones (like today). Most of the dinner dishes go in at night, and Thomas' sippy cups from that day and I run it every other night.
ETA: My MIL always says, "Those dishes made babies!"
C&K*s Mommie replied: We are a paper plate/bowl/cups and plastic utensils family. We have regular cups & plates, but they are not used daily.
Because of pots and pans and cooking utensils I run the dishwasher once a week, usually on the weekend. Otherwise I hand wash everything else daily when cleaning.
mom2my2cuties replied: He does cook well for me - usually But mostly he turns my kitchen into his bakery
Calimama replied: Oh yum. I'm jealous
Calimama replied: Just wanted to say again... YUM!
