kimberley wrote: happy.gif ease my guilty conscience and tell me i am not the only procrastinator on the board rolling_smile.gif i keep saying i want an indoor tree for the living room... think anyone will notice if i take the decorations off? rolling_smile.gif

mom89 replied: Not me! We took our stuff down after new years. It was so sad taking it all down bawling.gif

kileyjae replied: Sorry...I took mine down Dec 26th.

But, I have to confess, we have this little two foot tree that I put on the end table. It is decorated and I just pull it out of DS1's closet and put it back in when we are done.

We do have Christmas lights strung inside the livingroom along the ceiling/wall, but, those stay up year round...kinda light night lights.

5littleladies replied: I had to take ours down New Year's Eve. We had friends coming over with kids and the best place for them all to play while we hung out was the living room. rolleyes.gif

booey2 replied: Just took it down last weekend. Around our house if I don't take it down it would still be there in July. rolling_smile.gif rolling_smile.gif rolling_smile.gif

~Roo'sMama~ replied: Dh took ours down a little after new years. I didn't get them boxed up until a few days later though, and I just remembered that we forgot to take the wreath down that's hanging on our dining room wall. rolleyes.gif

coasterqueen replied: Our outside decorations came down New Years Eve day because the weather was beautiful and warm. We took down the inside decorations on New Years Day.

Maddie&EthansMom replied: Okay, Okay...I'll take it down TODAY! laugh.gif Maddie has a playdate coming over. I was needing some bubble wrap for my ornaments. Got that. Half of the decorations are down. It won't take me long to put them away so Scotty can shove them back in the attic. biggrin.gif

Kaitlin'smom replied: I was going to do it last weeknd but never go to it, plus I meed DH to get my boxes out of the attic so I can pack it up...so ya its his fault...I will get them down this weekend.

MomToMany replied: Well, our tree is still up, but all the decorations are put away. Everyone keeps forgetting to get the tree box from in the garage. Oh well.

ammommy replied: Anything obviously Christmas is down, but the winter stuff like snowmen and tree candles stay up until spring.

ediep replied: we took ours down New years day, Jason just kept messing with the tree too much. I couldn't keep him from taking down the ornaments and pearls from the tree any longer

mammag replied: I did really good at getting it all down except on my plant ledge. I've yet to get out the ladder to climb up there and get the greenery up there. You've just motivated me to get it done though.....................so I'll have dh get right to that when he gets home. biggrin.gif

CCTandME replied: took all our stuff down like 2 days after Christmas. Teagan was getting into the tree too much and pulling down ornaments. Usually I keep it up until around New Years.

favre4fan replied: Took mine down the weekend after New years.

MomToJade&Jordan replied: All of our stuff came down a few days after New Years. I had a ton of cleaning to do and just took the tree down during all of it. DH got the lights down that night.

MomofJandB replied: We took ours down New Year's weekend. Honestly, I couldn't wait to get everything put away and get my house back to normal! Plus, I stopped putting water in the tree about a week or so before Christmas so needles were everywhere!!!!!

tweety replied: i still have my tree up, but it's only a 2-foot tree. it doesn't take up much room.

loveydad replied: well i got sick so thats part of it. all i had up was a teddy bear decoration on my door, some santa stickers on the entertainment cuppard thingy and the tree. The tree went down really early - new years eve. because it was in the way.

gr33n3y3z replied: I took the tree down 2 days after Christmas
But we have a few things still out bc they were missed at the time
So I will shove those in a cabnet some where

3_call_me_mama replied: Well all of our decorations are down except the tree. And if cameron has his way it will stay up until next xmas! Every time we try to take it down he stands in front of the tree and says "stop rigth there, you not taking the tree down, you not breaking the tree (it has 3 sections to it) and he keeps finding this around the house to redecorate it with cause all the ornaments are put away. And now that we are all finally over being sick (i hope) it might just might come down this weekend while he's napping...... bu tprobably not casue lately he's refusing to nap! 2 year olds! drive ya nuts!

kimberley replied: woohoo!!! i did it thumb.gif . got the tree down and put away. most of the decorations are put away. just some lights in the window left. haha poor cam wants it to be christmas all year. hope he naps for you and you get some stuff done.

redchief replied:

Lollie replied: Hi Mommies... wavey.gif

I just took mine down this past week....mmmm..I must say though that if I had my way,I would have left it up for a while longer... rolling_smile.gif

Kirstenmumof3 replied: biggrin.gif I took the tree and my village down on New Years Day. But I still have things hanging on the wall that need to be taken down. I will probably do the rest today.

My2Beauties replied: We took our tree down the day after New Year's the needles were everywhere and hanna was picking them up, so down it came and out it went!! laugh.gif But my little snowmen cookie jars and my santa and mrs claus decorations...are still up blush.gif Hey we're moving so that is my excuse, I'm like well I wil lbe packing here in a week or so so why not leave it up until then! blush.gif blush.gif wub.gif

cdefmomma replied: I litterally just finished taking down mine on Monday. But we still have our lights outside up. But we do not turn them on anymore so I don't feel too bad.

iluvmysweetiepies replied: We took the tree down New Years Day but left a few decorations up for a few more days. rolling_smile.gif

Josie83 replied: We took them down before we went away to Switzerland. i don't like thme being around too long . . . you're supposed to take them down before the twelth day o christmas unles you want bad luck for a yar! xx

AllBoys replied: Dh took ours down Jan 2, but forgot the wreath on the front door. It's sitting on the foyer table. dry.gif

texasp3 replied: Ummm.... last week. But I plead having been gone from 12/27 - 1/2 as a lame excuse? And then my baby's been sick since then?

And I just noticed tonight that there's a wreath and a train up high in my half-moon window on the back wall of the living room that I forgot. *sigh* That's going to take a ladder. Maybe I'll just leave it till next year.
