Who is the boss - around your house
moped wrote: I ask Jack that all the time and when we are just goofing around he says "Jack is", when he knows i am mad, withoutme even asking he says "You are the boss mommy".........
Who's the boss at your house?
Boo&BugsMom replied: Mommy is, daddy is second in command.
luvbug00 replied: ME! I rule them all !!!!
moped replied: I am trying to get that through his head too - but with Tom staying home it is a tough battle for me
Calimama replied: DH is head of our family culturally but you know that saying from My big fat greek wedding? Where the mother says, " He may be the head of the family.. but I'm the neck.. and the neck can turn the head any way it wants".. that's us.
jacobsmama replied: HAHAHAAH
Jacob says He is the Boss...LOL
then he says NO mom you are.
HAHAH I AM THE BOSS!!!
lovemy2 replied: DH is two days a week between the hours of 8:00 and 4:00 - other than that - I fly solo
Calimama replied: He doesn't try to boss you over the phone? My DH micromanages from 3000 miles away.
moped replied:
jacobsmama replied: I tell Loren all the time..
He may where the pants of the family, But I pick them out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
TheOaf66 replied: did I get promoted?
moped replied: Oh you guys are funny!!!!!!
lovemy2 replied: Umm no - if anything he is constantly calling with Where's This, Where is That, How Do I, What If, What does He want, What does she want, When does he, What does she eat, what does he eat, etc etc - as if I moved everything in the house the nite before when he was sleeping and the children that emerged from their beds that am are in fact not his kids at all but COMPLETE strangers that he knows NOTHING about....each week we relearn all these things during those two days and then the other five days of the week they get lost again..
moped replied: Oh here too - Tom will have Jack dressed like a good and I say "He has wonderful clothes, what is this you have him in"....Tom says well I don't know where you keep his clothes!!!!!
SAME DRAWER THEY HAVE BEEN IN SINCE JUNE 24, 2004
lovemy2 replied:
Dave doesn't even know where HIS own clothes go - why should I expect him to know where the kids clothes are??????
I will have to take a picture of my kids at the end of the day when he is home next week so you can see what mine look like -
TANNER'S MOM replied: Me and the kids tell Dad too. But Mom said...and what Mom says goes..lol
punkeemunkee'smom replied: Bill is the boss...that is what we let him think!
holley79 replied: Annika is Just ask her and she will say, "Wee Me"
luvmykids replied: DH asks if he has clean socks....I say "Well, I'd imagine if you opened your sock drawer, you'd know the answer." He says "I have a sock drawer?"
Anyhoo, DH likes to refer to himself as "Big Daddy" but we all know it's just a cover up for the fact that he's low man on the totem pole
Boo&BugsMom replied: After reading this, I take it I am not the only one who has a hubby who doesn't put the kid's clothes away? I have to lay out the kid's clothes for him, or else they look like they belong on a deserted island.
BAC'sMom replied: At our Richard always says Go ask Mom, so guess I am. For I can move the Sun according to Callum
mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied: Hmmmm, I really don't know. DH and I are so equal on so many things. I suppose I am the one who cares for the kids most of the time though and I do most of the disciplining, so I guess ME. But Wil sure thinks he is the ruler of this house!
Mommy2BAK replied: Well I always let DH THINK he is the boss, and Blakely thinks he is too. But I think behind the scenes I'm more the boss.
Maddie&EthansMom replied: Who are you trying to fool? You know you don't put that man's socks in a drawer. They stay on the sofa (or in a basket), just like at my house. Okay, I get your point though....he still should know where to find them.
Scotty is the head of the household as in he handles bills, stuff like that....I pretty much run the house since he isn't here. And what I say goes most of the time b/c he wants to keep momma happy.
TheOaf66 replied: just cuz you don't like the way I dress them doesn't make it wrong
A&A'smommy replied: Same here, dh gets to think he is the boss but me and lissa both know thats not really true!!
AlexsPajamaMama replied: oh yes, I lay Alex's clothes out when I know dh may be helping him get dressed... Works out best if the 3 year old does it himself...
I am so the boss in my house, My saying is "If I dont do it who will!"
