Who has a clean house?

Lets share cleaning/organizational tips!! Any tips for kitchens, bathrooms, kids' rooms, playrooms, etc.? I need some motivation. Maybe we can share some before and after pics? Lets get cleaning!
mummy2girls replied: My Place is so flipping nasty. Because Tornado Jenna seems to come roaring through each day. I usually wait till she is in bed until i clean. because when she is up she just follows behind me and destroys anything i clean. Right now im looking at my living room and there is toys everywhere. She seems to bring all her toys from hjer room into the living room.. Its a little annoying.
TANNER'S MOM replied: Well at the moment and for the last month my house has stayed clean and pretty manageable. The way I have done this..completing a task. I have one room complete before I go to another one. And I complete all laundry, from wash to dryer to put away before doing anything else. That is my number one thing is completing a task.
During the week while I work is harder, But I do the 15 minutes per room for pick up and try to stay on balance that way.
One thing I would like to say is this. My kids are older, 14 to 6 and four of them. And when they were babies it was never clean. Baby stuff everywhere, I think it comes with the age. My B/Friend has a child who is 3 and she is a stay at mom. She still has toys laying everywhere. Stacked in every corner of her home! lol

Are you KIDDING!? There's 9 kids (well one of those is in utero) IN MY HOUSE! I don't even bother cleaning up but once a week or if there is company. Luckily we have a playroom downstairs and I can tell them to play in there... usually there's only a tiny bit of their toys in the living room, but right now Tav's going through baby clothes, Tracy's pulling books down from the shelf to read, Carter's dragging stuff from one end ofthe house to the other.
And sweet little Clara just sits there. She's my favorite.
iluvmysweetiepies replied: Good idea about cleaning each room for 15 min. I think I'll try that. Though whatever I do, it seems the kids undo it in 2 min
Maddie&EthansMom replied: My house stays spotless.
Check out Flylady.com. She will give you some good tips (such as the 15 mins per room) I can't keep Maddie from tearing the house up and dragging her stuff everywhere.
Kila replied: I don't have the time right now to do it but my sister is a member of http://flylady.net/ . It is a site geared towards busy people who want to learn steps to organzing and cleaning their houses. It has useful tips and you get daily e-mails that gives you various projects for the day. Check it out. She loves it. I would like to fit it in my schedule but right now my life is complete chaos.
MyBlueEyedBabies replied: I have spent the last 5 days cleaning and my house is still a pit Maybe by the time the kids are in college I will be caught up.
ediep replied: we have a cleaning lady that comes every other week and she does all the hard stuff, like tubs, floors, stove .....I do laundry, of course I have to pick up the toys and things. I do clean inbetween her visits. i usually have to vaccuum my family every few days
coasterqueen replied: Well for some reason since DH got the roomba we've at least had clean floors but we've also been keeping the house picked up too. But for the most part our house *really* isn't clean, lol.
Josie83 replied: Our house is always clean, but its not always totally tidy . . . does that make sense? We always know where everything is! xx
Kirstenmumof3 replied: Now that's funny! My house looks like a Tornado hit it! I'm a bad housekeeper!
MomToMany replied: My house is awful too. I'm so bad at keeping up with it, but there's other stuff that's more important.
kit_kats_mom replied: Roomba rocks!
I'm a neat freak and our house stays clean. It does get messy with toys and stuff but I double dog dare you to find dirt. We have a cleaning lady who comes every other week too and she takes care of the tubs and windows...stuff I don't like to do. LOL She's always saying that if it weren't for my blue velour jogging suit that sheds all over, that she'd have nothing to do at all. She comments all the time about how there's no dirt. That's music to an OCD persons ears!
