MyBlueEyedBabies replied: There was no way I could have waited.....I kinda had to with Matt (we thought he was a girl until 34ish weeks) but I never would have purposefully waited.

PanthersGirl replied: I could never wait. Its either a surprise NOW or later. Well the happiness of having the baby get here is a surprise enough so I wanted to go ahead and enjoy calling her by name ASAP

Besides, we can buy stuff besides yellow and green. Its just changed everything in my pregnancy for me and my boyfriend. Its made us both much more excited and made it much more real to us. (Of course this is both of our's first)

I love knowing and could never wait! I had a countdown going to that appointment!

Lynda836 replied: We decided to find out, because I was choosing to have an amnio. I'm happy we did because we're now calling him by name (we decided on Ethan) rather than just baby, and we could go shopping for more than just newborn stuff. My mom is having the time of her life shopping!!

I probably wouldn't have found out if I was just having an ultrasound...just because I had a friend who was told they were having a boy, from an ultrasound, and then "he" turned out to be a girl. Oops!

michelle_ replied: We didn't find out with our daughter Parker and all along I thought she was a boy... so for the next to pregnancys we found out the sex of the babies and now were going to have 3 girls running around the house.
