Where do you buy your bedding?

Also, color ideas would be good too. I'm not particular, just want a change. We have a cream colored carpet in the bedroom right now and sage green walls. I'm almost positive I'm going to repaint too so don't take the walls into consideration too much. Right now, we have a black wood bedroom set- sleigh bed and silver fixtures on the dressers. I have a cream, sage and tan theme going on currently.

Ideas anyone?

mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied: I don't have any online suggestions, but I actually found a really nice king size quilt at Marshall's last year for our bedroom. It's just like the nice quilts they sell at Pottery Barn, but I paid maybe $60 for it, maybe a little more. It's solid light blue (sorta that greenish blue). The shams were seperate, but all together it was a great deal. I love that store. If you really dig around, you can find some really nice quality bedding items. I have washed this quilt several times and it stays looking like new. We have a dark wood sleigh bed. And I threw a chocolate pillow on the bed as an accent color. We also have light blue walls. And lots of dark chocolates throughout, white too. So white, blue, and dark brown are the colors in there, and we have silver and glass accents as well. It's very soothing to me.

What I do is tear out pics from magazines or catelogues like PB and then go find "look alikes" at less expensive stores. I like the layouts in PB, so this helps give me the idea, but I won't pay their prices unless I'm desperate.

Old Mom Hubbard replied: This may sound tacky to some, but personally I LOVE CostCo as they have some very nice quality bedding there on occasion and sheet sets and pillows too at great prices. My parents get their bedding at JC Penny.

It is all personal choice and what you be looking for really. I have always been happy with ours so...best of luck to you there!

I actually ended up getting a duvet cover and shams, curtains and an accent pillow at wallmart. I bought my sheets at Ross, and an accent blanket at Target. I went with a taupe color with a greenish blue accent color. I painted my walls in the blue/green color. I love the change.
