Where all have you lived? - Where would you want to live?

I think I would love to live in TN, or SC, NC. I have visited shortly and love those states.

Then I lived in South Carolina until I was 8 (my best friend from k5 still lives there and we still keep in touch) and now I'm 18 and live in alabama but I would REALLY like to move except that all my family lives here.

When I was about 24, I moved to Hawaii where I currently reside - don't think I'll ever be moving..my dh is a local boy and they say "once an island boy, always an island boy"..that's ok - no complaints here!!

I was Born in kingston-upon-thames in London, UK
Moved to Surrey in UK where I grew up from age of 4
Spent 3 years in Scotland with the military in my 20's
Moved back to London where I lived for 10 years
Now been in Cebu in the Philippines for last 6 years
Moving Back to UK in 4 months haha!!

Would love to live in Japan tho. Their air is so crispy and fresh, especially in spring and autumn. But, the downside is.... they have earthquakes

Now DH and I are moving to the Tampa FL area.

We've also visited Washington DC, Vancouver BC, Key West FL & Washington State.
I really loved Hawaii, SanFrancisco, Vancouver and Key West but honestly, everywhere has something I like...trees, ocean, mountians. ahhhhhh. I need to be rich so I can have a ton of houses all over. LOL

DH and me visited San Francisco and loved it. Wouldn't mind living there. Despite the threat of earthquakes.

Where would I like to live? Hmm.. that's tough, but I think Colorado would be nice. That probably won't happen anytime soon though because Ashley loves her grandparents too much and she'd be devasted if she couldn't see them.

Boys r us replied: I was born in Virginia and I've lived here for my entire life with the exception of two years when I lived on The Outer Banks, NC(Nags head).

We've visited a lot of different states b/c we love to travel, but I will never live anywhere but here..we have 4 true seasons every year and I have the best of both worlds....the beautiful blue ridge mountains and the atlantic ocean!

I would love move to North Carolina, Montana, Virginia or Texas. But my husband doesn't want to move. I know I'd miss my family but I'm so tired of it here. My kids really love there grandparents though so guess that is one good reason stay here.

If I had a choice I think I'd pick North Carolina with Montana a close second.

My2Beauties replied: Kit Kat's mom..you've lived in Louisville? That is where I live, Louisville, Ky, lived here all my life born and raised! I would never move away, God that sounds bad doesn't it! You know a lot of people in Louisville stay here forever. It's a hard place to leave, the cost of living is cheap, the city is nice, the weather sucks but I can deal with that But the allergies here are terrible if you have them. I'm lucky I don't have them but well.....my DF does! I have been to Las Vegas, NV, Tennessee, Alabama (my dad lives in Hunstville), North and Soutj Caroline, Illinois, Ohio, Georgia, and I think that is it!

i was born in brooklyn. i live in brooklyn, and i have my whole life. i would like to move to new jersey as soon as we can. my dad lives there, and it's hard for him to come up and see us because he lives alone, and is wheelchair bound.

Born, raised & lived in Georgia all my life!! Boring, but love it.....I wouldn't move UNLESS I could take my whole family with me. Would probably move to Colorado. I love it out there.

Alice replied: I've spent my life on Long Island (NY) and can't imagine living anywhere else. My family is here. And there's the beaches... I would hate to be far from the ocean, and by the end of winter I'm itching to get back to the beach. (We took the kids to walk on the boardwalk on the one mild day we had in February.) We have 4 distinct seasons (usually) and I'm only a 40 minute train ride from Manhattan. Skiing in the Catskill Mountains is a 2 hour drive.

The down side is the traffic. We seriously have to plan things around rush hour. For example, tomorrow we're driving upstate to my in-laws for the holiday weekend. Aside from some ferries that don't take us where we want to go, the only way off this island is through the city. So we have to plan to leave either before or after the rush hour to avoid spending an hour or two sitting in traffic. Yuck!! (But we did give in and buy a VCR for the van, so the 4 hour trip should be a bit more bearable!!)

Still, it's home, and I don't ever plan to live anywhere else.

However, if some of you have a spare room, I would love to visit Your homes sound great!!
