When you type - How many fingers do you use?

mammag replied: I can type pretty fast and use all my fingers unless I'm holding the baby.
amynicole21 replied: I type correctly (at 65 wpm, thank you very much! LOL). I just can't use the numbers above the letter keys right... I use the keypad to the right of the letters when I need to type numbers.
mommy_loves_chase replied: all of them
redchief replied: All of em... Never checked my WPM rate; never needed to. I use the number keys because there's no keypad on my keyboard.
TANNER'S MOM replied: All of them..
But I suck at the numbers..
BTW: they sale the detachable number pads for you laptop! And they are awesome!
punkeemunkee'smom replied: I had to reply to this to see! I use all of them and I can type pretty fast if I am trying to or get a train of thought going-if someone is watching me tho, forget it my fingers get all tangled up!
boobies4virtue replied: all of them. I think. But I still have to look at the keys b/c I will get off by one letter and type a whole lot of nonsense.
MommyToAshley replied: I use all my fingers, and I type pretty fast which is why there are always so many typos in my replys
Just a funny note, I loved my old keyboard, but noone else could use it. They would always ask how I use it because I had worn off all the letters on the keys.... especially the W, A, S, D keys (gamers will know why) But, my keyboard finally broke and I had to get another one. Now, I have to wear this one in so that it is comfortable.
coasterqueen replied: same here although I'm not for sure how fast I type anymore. I think I'm alot slower than I used to be. When I typed on an 'old fashioned' electric typewriter I know I was much faster.
TANNER'S MOM replied: I can't type on an old fashion electric typewriter!!! I HATE THEM
Which means I don't really type I KEYBOARD I guess..lolol
I have no letter M..and No O. And I don't game!
coasterqueen replied: You know what's weird for me is I must type an awful lot of 'e's when I type because this is my 3rd computer in the 5 years I've been here at work and on all of them (different brands) the 'E' lettering on the key is worn off. How strange!
coasterqueen replied: I LOVE LOVE oldfashioned electric typewriters.
Jamielou replied: I use all of them but i cant do the numbers at the top i use the number pad on the right of the keyboard.
luvbug00 replied: All my fingers but I also use the keypad!
mckayleesmom replied: I can type and talk to someone or watch tv at the same time without missing a beat...I can also tell if I make a mistake before I see it on the screen usually and start to correct myself. I wish I could use my number pad on the side...but it doesn't work for some reason....I think something is locked.
Sarah&Mackenzie replied: I use all of them, can't remember how many WPM I can type though.
jcc64 replied: I use all of them. I can type pretty fast- for an art major!
A&A'smommy replied: All of them and I type correctly for the most part!

mom21kid2dogs replied: 4 or 5. Never took a typing class (which is usually obvious by my posts! )
TANNER'S MOM replied: You what I hate..

mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied: All fingers here and pretty fast. MIL was just mentioning that I was fast! She says she types with two fingers. My mom made me take typing in high school...but that was on typewriters!
My2Beauties replied: I type all day as I have to log each call I get, I type about 80-85 WPM last time I was timed That is so nerdy LOL, I can type, look at somebody else, carry on a convo with them and not miss a beat, I can correct my errors without looking too! I know how many letters I am off and everything. Weird!
MyBlueEyedBabies replied: I use all of them but not on the correct keys I also have to look down at the keyboard but i stopped looking at what the letters were a long time ago. Karen e is the most common letter in the english language (or vowel??? don't remember but i know it's the most common)
kayla's mama replied: I use both of them if I don't have baby. I can type pretty fast not sure what my WPM though. I am supper fast on the keypad. I was a bank teller for 4+ years.
JessC replied: ME too!
