When was the first time ur child...?

My sister asked me that earlier b/c her daughter who is 2 1/2 months older than Zuiriel hasn't been sleeping through the night yet. It is starting to wear on my sister's nerves. I told her that Zuriel has been sleeping throughout the night sense he was about 2 months old. Before that I had to wake him up in order to feed him and change his diaper. So... that sparked the question...

~KARA~ replied: My girls started sleeping all night teh day they were born or teh day they came home. My youngets started waking back up about 6 weeks when she went throught a groth spurt.

Mom2Boyz replied: Conner is almost 1, and he still has not slept through the night. He still wakes up once, sometimes even two or three times each night.

ediep replied: I think Jasonwas about 5 months old when e started sleeping through the night. It is different for every baby, but I don't think a baby will sleep through the night until they are ready. When they are very young, they may need to eat during the night.

maestra replied: Jaci goes through spurts, and will still not consistently sleep through the night. She's 2. My dh had the same problem though, and would very easily switch nights and days. I agree with what others have said- it's different with every child.

jen replied: Maddy has slept through the night since she was about 3 weeks old...before that she would go down at about 11 and sleep until 4 then back down until 8 so I always had it made!! She is really good unless we get her off schedule and then she rewires herself and keeps waking up!!!

2Ash replied: Ashton is 15 months and still don't sleep threw the night. Some kids just don't no matter what you try. I myself have learned to live with it. The most sleep he gets day and night total is 5-7 hours. (yes i'm a walking zombie, lol) Hope your neice sleeps before long.

coasterqueen replied: Umm..I'll have to answer this WHEN and IF she ever does. Kylie's never slept through the night yet....close a few times but that's it.

caEdyns_mOMMY replied: I know I'm lucky.... My daughter did have her days and nights mixed up for the first 2 months, but at around 4 months old she was already sleeping through the night. You could imagine my shock when I woke up that first morning with a full night of sleep!
