When do they get teeth

What ages did your kids get teeth ?

PrairieMom replied: Benjamin was 9 1/2 months and got the bottom 2 both on the same day. Al was about 10 months, and got one, then the other after about 3 weeks. Mine are late teethers. At 12 1/2 months she is FINALLY getting her 3rd tooth. the top left one.

Some kids take a really long time teething with their first teeth. Tanner's first ones took a couple months to pop through all the way even though you could start to feel them several months prior. I can not remember how old he was though. I want to say 5 months, maybe 6.

MyBrownEyedBoy replied: Logan was 6 months old. He teethed hard and fast, had all of his teeth, including 2 year molars before he was 2.

Calimama replied: Bella started at 2 months but didn't actually get one until 3 months. She's almost 10 months and has 12 teeth already. The molars were the worst.

hoosier momma replied: John Robert was about 6 months and he hasn't quit since. It seems like every time one pops through another starts.

mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied: Kids are all diffferent when it comes to teeth. Wil didn't get his first until 14 months. It was the top and only one at first. Wesley still doesn't have any teeth at 11.5 months. I can see the top two starting to swell at the gum, but nothing has poked through yet. I wouldn't worry about it personally, but I know easier said than done. I know I worried waiting for 14 months. They all get them eventually...and people always told me the longer it takes, the better their teeth will be. That's just what I've been told.

ladybug13 replied: Sounds like what my DS did. I swear I thought he was teething when he was 3 months old. He didn't have his first tooth break through until he was 11 months old. Then he got 4 within a month. The later they get them, the healthier their adult teeth are supposed to be so......

tryan21 replied: Kayla will be 1 on the 15th and she still has no teeth. The doc said he could see them at the 9 mo. WBC and they just needed to poke through. Well still nothing. I've stopped worrying about it. They'll come when they come I guess.

People always tease her and me because she doesn't have them yet, but really she isn't missing anything. She still eats all the same foods she would be if she did have them. The doc says they don't even use those front ones to chew.

I think it might run in our family though because my nephew didn't get his till about 14 months. But once he got one then they all started poping through.

Anyhow, I wouldn't worry because ALL kids are different.
