When did your baby/babies...

GavinsMommy wrote: I'm pretty sure that's what's going on. He's been irritable lately and is drooling very excessively. He's soaking his shirts in a matter of minutes. There's almost no point to change them because he just soaks them back up again.

I know I have forceful letdown, but I think now he's pulling off bc of pain. He also has thrush again which he's on Diflucan again for.

He has had some explosive diapers that do NOT smell pretty, let me tell you! I thought they were from the Soy formula but he hasn't had it in over a week and he's still pooping like this. It's like pudding but has the most awful smell, like burnt marshellow...I don't know, only way I can describe it.

I've been giving him a little Tylenol here and there...I searched for teeth coming up but the only thing I found that might have been a tooth about to appear is one of his lower back teeth...so I don't know. 3 months is early but I know it's possible.

What symptoms did baby have also???

kimberley replied: jade started teething around 8wks old but didn't pop her first tooth until she was 5mos ohmy.gif . then again, teething with no teeth for 6mos and from 11-13mos, she popped almost ALL of her teeth at once.

Jacob started teething around a month old and got his first teeth shortly after. had them all before he was one (except 2yr molars). James was late.. about 5mos and got them slowly one at a time. he is losing his baby teeth just as slow. only lost the first one a month or so ago and he is almost 7yo ohmy.gif

moped replied: Well he can have symptoms and no teeth for a long time - Jack might have started abround 3 mon and didn't get a tooth til 6 mon, then he got his second right away and it has been nearly 2 and a half months and no top teeeth yet.............all kids are different but it is quite possible that a bottom tooth is coming!

My2Beauties replied: Hanna started teething at around 4 months and didn't get any until she was 10 months old ohmy.gif Her two bottoms came in first, with in 2 weeks of each other then I think right around her first b'day her top 2 came in! No more since then. She is 16 months old and no more than 4 toofers just yet! no signs of teething neither! I wish my daughter would hurry up and get some chompers! rolleyes.gif

mammag replied: Keegan has been "teething" for quite some time. He's 4mos now and no teeth.

Each kid was diff. Cade didn't get his first until 10mos!!! The other were earlier but I don't remember exactly when.

5littleladies replied: My girls all started teething between 4-5 months and had their first tooth in by 5-6 months. happy.gif

Mommy2BAK replied: Well, I didn't vote because Blakely is 8 months old and still has no teeth! blink.gif

atlantamomof2 replied: Both of mine starting the heavy drooling at about 4 months and both got their first teeth at 7 months. happy.gif

maestra replied: Giselle has begun the drooling- but shows no other signs. My ped says around 2 months is when their salivary glands start up- and can over produce. Jaci drooled this early too, and got her teeth at 4 months.

What color is Gavin's stool? If it is green, you could have oversupply, which is common in people with a forceful letdown ( I have this too). It gave Giselle more gas and made her bms explosive and nasty smelling. After a while, my supply regulated (thanks to nursing on only one breast at a feeding) and that problem went away.

Poor baby for the thrush! grouphug.gif

GavinsMommy replied: It's a greenish yellowy mud...lol...

I always nurse on just one side happy.gif

maestra replied:
I learned with Giselle that the green means an imbalance of hind and foremilk- baby is getting too much of the skim foremilk, which passes through them without being well digested, so it ferments in the intestines and causes gas and the green color.

That article had some good explainations.

3xsthefun replied: My girls started cutting their teeth around 7 to 8 months.

A&A'smommy replied: Alyssa started teething around 3 or 4 months old, she drooled like crazy, fussed a little and chewed on her hands and my hair (ew yeah) anyway she got her first tooth the day before she turned 5months old and the second a few days later and now she has 12 teeth including four molars they were the worst!!

Lollie replied: Bri started teething at around 5 months.

She didnt have an easy time withit tho!!!! sad.gif She was sooo crabby and she couldnt sleep.I put her on Hylands teething gel and it worked wonders!!! wink.gif

jcc64 replied: All 3 of my kids were over a year old before they cut any teeth. And there was little perceptable change in their dispositions as each new one came in. No fevers, no crankiness.

0-10andbackagain replied: 6-9 months.

akbutterfly83 replied: Mason is kinda starting, but not fully teething, but my little brother was boren with 2 teeth....

Does anyone know anyone else that was boren with teeth... ? or was anyone on the board boren with teeth?

nashsmommy replied: Nash started drooling alot at 3 months but I didn't know any broke through until i was putting the spoon in his mouth and heard it click. He was almost a year old.
Now he has 10 teeth. Didn't know he cut a one.....no fevers, no crabbiness.
