I was married May 29th 2004. My husbands name is Iain and we have been together almost 4 years. We got married in Port Canaveral, Florida. My Dad and stepmom live in Cocoa Beach. We decided to have the wedding in Florida and make a big vacation for everyone. My DHs friends and family all flew down from Canada and the majority of my family members all live down south so it was perfect. We got married on the beach and it was hot but a perfect day. My stepmom planned the whole thing , it was beautiful. I will try and attach a picture. Can't wait to read about everyones day!!

MyBlueEyedBabies replied: We got married in michael's parents church. It is a little chapel in Seal Beach, CA then we had our reception at a restuarant down the street in Long Beach. It was nice but one of the more miseralbe days in my life.
I had more clothing, makeup, hair problem that day than I have ever had before Luckily I love dh or it wouldn't have been worth it

october 1, 2005 - little beach, jamaica - sunset. i am wearing a gorgeous dress, much smaller than my current size because i am going to lose like 70 pounds, right? barry's in khaki cutoff pants and a white shirt not buttoned all the way up, showing his marvelous tan that he dosen't have. georgia is the flower girl, and all my family and friends are there having the time of their lives.

heavenly_1970 replied: Michael & I got married on Saturday, July 4,1992 in a tiny church his mother was a member of at the time. It wasnt that great...the preachers daughter had volunteered to play the piano, but wound up not being able to play her way out of a paper bag. I had my dress made for me, but the lady made it too long so I kept having to kick it from under my feet as I walked down the aisle. Only 1/2 the guests arrived due to the 'holiday.' The limo company sent the wrong limo then refused to let me smoke a cig in the limo after all the stress...UggggH...good thing we were in love! HAd a great honey Moon in San Antonio tho!

A&A'smommy replied: Okay first of all I had like 10 weeks to plan it (I guess I was around 14wks pg when it tooks place). Anyway I did most of the planning like the week before . Well first of all it was right outside of my church in their small rose garden it was suppose to start a 1pm but it was just a few minutes late because dh had to go back to the apartment and get my ring its a REALLY good thing his dad asked him where they were . I didn't know any of that until we were almost "home" its a really good thing though because I thought it was halarious. It was SOO beautiful here is a picture and you can see some more at my website. Also it wasn't real "traditional" we had a guitarist instead of a pianist.

kimberley replied: we were married November 1, 2002 in Fenelon Falls, Ontario at a beautiful spa/inn. we eloped just 3 days after he proposed (on my birthday) we were married on a friday so that the following year we could do a proper church ceremony for family and friends on a saturday but unfortunately finances didn't allow it so we are hoping to do the ceremony next august. so we will have 2 anniversaries lol. We just stayed there for the weekend as a honeymoon. i wish i had pictures of the cabin... it was beautiful with a jacuzzi, fireplace and all. unfortunately we borrowed a friend's digital camera and it somehow got erased before we got home i do have a video though i wish i didn't lol. i got really nervous and laughed like a hyena through my vows! wrong time to figure out what my nervous "thing" is! Jamie's was just as funny. i think he rubbed the first 2 layers of skin off my hand during the ceremony.

here is a link to the inn if anyone is curious. the cabin we were in is not on there for some weird reason. it was a 2 bdrm and they only show the 1 bdrm.

ediep replied: we got married on Friday July 2, 1999. We had the ceremony at my church and my dad (a deacon) walked me down the aisle and then performed the ceremony. The reception was at the Garden Manor in Aberdeen. It is a bigcatering/wedding reception place. It is very beautiful.

We got married in our church. It was a big wedding. It was a nice ceremony, too. My dress was custom made, designed by me with DH's preferences in mind! It had a reeeeeeaaaaallllllyyyyyy long train. We didn't have a big reception, tho. We went to Louisiana on our honeymoon. Ahhhhhh! Memories.

kit_kats_mom replied: We got married on 12/31/00 in Florida. We had a very intimate, family only, ceremony in the sitting area of a small, historic hotel downtown. We then walked down the hill to the big reception that was basically a huge new years eve party that included cake/bouquet toss etc. It was tons of fun and our friends are still talking about it!

maestra replied: We got married June 8, 2002 at the Excalibur Casino Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas. I was 6 months pregnant with Jaci at the time , as DH asked me to marry him a week before we found out. Dh has this huge family full of moochers who would have just come to the wedding to get free food and booze. So we went to Vegas (about a 6 hr drive from Phoenix, 1 hour cheap flight) and our family and friends came with. We had a short cake and champagne reception in our hotel suite, then sent everyone out to gamble. My only regret was that we didn't get a first dance, but other than that, we loved our wedding.

And the guy who married us looked just like Kenny Rodgers!

paradisemommy replied: we were married on Monday, February 4, 2002. we are both in the guard and after 9/11 we were both activated and barely squeezed out a few days due to our shifts and long hours working. we were married on the beach with only his family there (maybe 12 people there) and though the minister was rather hoaky and geared toward the tourists, it turned out really well. we managed to fly to kauai for 2 nights then back to work on thursday..

and i was like 3 months pg at the time...

JenniferAllen replied: We eloped in Lake Tahoe, NV on April 24, 2004. We had been engaged since August 2002, but never got around to planning our dream wedding (school and work took priority for us back then). I was 9 1/2 months (38 weeks pregnant), and spent the weekend in Tahoe relaxing and enjoying each other's company. Matthew was born exactly two weeks later (two days before his due date). We used our wedding fund as a down payment for our "home" account. That was the best thing we could have done (besides having our son), because we just used it for a downpayment on our home.

We were married on June 16th 2002 in Deer River, Minnesota. Nothing fancy, we couldn't afford much. It was like a justice of the peace that married us.

Well my DH and I were married on March 15, 1997 in Metuchen, NJ. We were living in Fl at the time so our honeymoon was going to different places down the east coast.

3xsthefun replied: Were were married on September 25, 1999 in my parents yard. It was really a nice little wedding. It wasn't my dream wedding but I think it went pretty well. It was hotter then we planned though. I had to end up changing out of my wedding dress after the reception.

We had our honeymoon right here in West Virginia. We didn't have alot of money but it still was a nice one.

I was about 3 months when we were married.

Mom2Boyz replied: Larry and I got married at the Shalimar wedding chapel in Las Vegas this past July 20th It was only me him and his parents at the ceremony, but it was nice. I wouldn't have changed a thing!

Our reception was at the Renaissance Ilikai Hotel with 150 guests. We got 2 free nights in the honeymoon suite because we used to bowl with the lady who worked with us! DS took this pic of us in the limo. Will post a better one later.

TANNER'S MOM replied: We were married on December 2. 1997. At the court house in Fayetteville, AR.
Nothing exciting , same ole same ole. I wore a pretty materity dress, 7 months pregp, couldn't see my feet that is for sure.

We didn't even have enuff money for rings. The JP married and she was a very poetic black woman, she has us hold hands and said some of the most beutiful things. She asked my husband to pledge to me his love and his every dream. I can never forget that every dream part. It really brings tears to my eyes.

We pledged our love and to be the best parents and stand beside each other as parents. It was just me and him, But it was special and I was glad that she mentioned our baby, most of the time it is taboo, you know

We came along way since then. Finally bought a farm, we have 4 kids a bunch of horse, dogs, cattle etc. It really makes me smile to think of the day when we didn't even have enuff money for a simple wedding band. Ain't god good

And I finally got a Rock, on my 5th anniv.

(if I had had my way we would have been marriend in my home church but it is 3 1/2 hours away so that didn't work ) I had the worst cold of my life and sounded like a chain smoker and by the end of the day had a huge headache... oh and plus AF was lingering on. But other than that it was the happiest day of my life.... followed closely by the day I found out for sure about my little bean. My brother took our pictures and we didn't get many good ones but I'll try posting one anyways.
