Wheel of Fortune taping - I'm so excited, and such a nerd! haha

Our Lil' Family wrote: Wheel of Fortune will be taping shows in New Orleans this weekend. I sent in for tickets a few weeks ago because we love it, Thomas loves it, I wanted to take him. Well you have to be at least 8 years old, so he can't go.

Saturday a friend posted on FB that he got 8 tickets for Saturday afternoons taping and only needed 4, I had not received anything so I assumed I didn't get chosen. So I took 2 for Saturday. Then today I notice our weekend mail and I got 4 tickets for Friday night! SOOOO....I'm going to BOTH! HAHA! One of my BFF's is coming with me Friday night and we'll stay the night, then another friend is coming meet me Saturday for the afternoon taping.

I'm so excited to 1.) Get away for the night with a BFF that I had lost contact with for 5 years; 2.) see Wheel of Fortune taping and 3.) get away for the night.....oh did I mention that already? haha

Of course I can't bring in a camera....or even a cell phone! UGH But I'll be sure to share all the details with you all when I get back!!

Get there VERY early as the seats are determined by who gets there first. I think I was 16th in line and I got front row. You can bring a camera but obviously can't use it during the taping. I know with Maury they let us take pictures on the stage before it started, pictures with Maury, etc.

did they say why someone under 8 cant go? that's odd. it's family friendly..well anyhoo have fun!

Our Lil' Family replied: The regulations specifically say no cell phones or cameras, they search bags. I can understand.
As for why 8 and up, we think probably to keep the noise down.....hard to keep a 6 year old quiet....and especially MY 6 year old, lol. They don't want kids screaming out the words I guess.
