And that's really it. I've already gotten some maternity clothes if you can call that gifts and plan to get a few more PLUS we've been spending a lot of money on furniture for the basement.

But I think Dh might get me the two smaller cheaper things for my stocking and instead of buying each other gifts we'll spend our money on hiring our doula since we need to do that by the first of the year.

ediep replied: I already got my Christmas present, it is a sewing machine. DH got his too, a leather jacket. I don't think we are going to get each other anything else.

Boys r us replied: Well, I got my xmas gift this weekend! We got some furniture we didn't need..I just wanted it and begged for it and so DH said, Well, if we spend all of this extra money on these things, then it will be your christmas presents! I was more than okay with that seeing as how it was about 20 times the normal $ limit we set for each other! hehe!!

But just last night he was like, I know something I'm going to get you for christmas and I said..I thought I wasn't getting anything else from you? and he said, well I can't not get you anything..WHOO HOO..HAAA!!

But anyhow, one of the pieces of furniture I was dying to have that DH caved on was a New bar..it's beautiful actually, here's a pic of it off of the manufacturer's website..it is much more beautiful in person!! It has a beautiful marble top!
Anyhow, so I'm asking for everyone to get me a bottle of liquor for my bar..so I can have a stocked bar..hehe!!
Once it's delivered and all set up..I'll take a pic of it..HOPEFULLY WITH ALL MY GOODIES IN IT TOO!! anyone want to come over for adult beverages?

Candles and nice work clothes. But I what I will prob get is NOTHING! My husband is not good at buying gifts, The last thing he bought me for Christmas was in 1999, a make up mirror and hot rollers! And he didn't understand what was wrong with that gift?

We asked my mom and sister to go in on a Burley bike trailer for our family gift... I think we're going to get it, too!

The biggest thing I want I cant get, and the other thing I want I dont think DH wil do, he was supposed to for our 10 year annivesary so I am pretty sure it wont happen.

jcc64 replied: The adults in my family don't generally exchange gifts b/c there are soooo many kids to buy for now. However, I would really love dh to hook me up with a family skiing weekend.

DansMom replied: We tend to do home improvement projects as our gift to each other (adults don't exchange in our family either, but DH and I do token gifts and stockings). Last year we got a new countertop and sink. This year we are getting a new fridge and stove (gotta happen before T-day!) I got my house for a great price in this area, downside being that the appliances are all original (1956!!!!). The oven is in the wall, uninsulated, and has never baked anything properly. It's only good for keeping things warm. The range top is over cabinets, and two of the four burners don't work. Probably as antiques they are worth something, but they are no good for practical purposes. I can't wait to bake again. I want to make cookies with Daniel.

I have no idea what I want aside from a good supply of Yankee candles. Our families expect christmas lists around Thanksgiving so I guess I better get thinking.

I'm sure there are lots of little things, but what I want most of all is to go camping on Christmas (don't know if it will happen b/c of Ethan's surgery)

DH mentioned that we might buy each other a TV and DVD/VCR combo for the study.
