What sports/activities is your children in? - Along same lines as my other post
coasterqueen wrote: Just curious, what sports/activities are your children in right now?
coasterqueen replied: Right now Kylie is taking a tumbling/tap class. Both girls will more than likely start a swimming class again in the fall after we take the pool down.
Boys r us replied: braedon won't be able to play anythiong until next spring..and he'll be old enough then for Rec T-ball...I CANNOT WAIT!!!
Tanner play basketball,football and baseball.
MommyToAshley replied: Ashley is in swimming lessons and summer preschool right now. Soccer is August through the end of September (this will be her first year of soccer) Awanas through the church also starts in August. Tap, ballet, gymnastics and fall preschool all start in September and run through June. (This is her second year of dance and preschool)
Phew... no wonder I am so tired.
Brias3 replied: Ryan was in soccer, coach pitch baseball, basketball and tennis this year. He's not too big a fan of tennis so he'll likely not continue lessons after this session is complete. Aliyah's in dance, gymnastics and went to a soccer camp with Ryan last week, as she's developed an interest and would like to join a team come fall. All three are in swimming class (Ryan finally relented and is taking lessons) and Mason is also in a Little Gym class.
luvmykids replied: They all rodeo and are all in swimming lessons, Kylie and Macie are in gymnastics/dance, and Colt is in Tae Kwon Do.
3_call_me_mama replied: Cameron just finished VBS (vacation Bible School) and starts swimming lessons July 31 and that ends Aug 11. He might do soccer this fall through the Rec dept. (depending on dates and times) and then when that ends (it's only a 3 week class) he might do tae kwon do (He was really excited about it but not so much now so we might skip that). Also he has Royal Rangers at the church in teh fall. Kathleen will do a parent/tot swimming class this fall probably with Dennis and maybe preballet/gymnastics for 2 year olds. (but not for sure on that one yet. ) I'd prefer that they each did 2 activities or less. One being the Church group and the otehr a sport/organized activity. And that's it. I can't be runnin g all around AND it is just too much for them.
ashtonsmama replied: Is nursing a sport?
amymom replied: That is very funny!
Mary Beth just finished baseball, she takes swimming lessons (t & th) at the beach for the summer, she is also in the summer reading/science program which is t-f mornings. She did basketball camp which was all day for one week. But Hockey is the sport she loves. The regular season is Oct - Feb. She did what is called 3 on 3 hockey from April until June. She wants to do Hockey again this summer but we just cannot afford it. Plus I don't know that I would allow it even if we could. Hockey is very time consuming!
Billy just hangs out . He is a teenager what can I say. BUT I am trying to get him and his friends to start a youth center with the town's support. That would be a good thing.
The are both involved at church with the sporadic programs that they offer. I would like a youth group there if we do not get the town to start one.
gr33n3y3z replied: Katie will be in soccer again her last year of Rec soccer for she will be in 8th grade
Erin is undecided in what she wants to do her last year in high school
Kaitlin'smom replied: WEll Currently Kait goes to pre-school 5 morings (she LOVES IT) is taking dance and gymnastics.
jcc64 replied: Alec- right now we're deep into baseball season. He plays on 5 teams total- all but 1 are now done. JV football is now starting, and then there's hockey in the winter. Noah- also on 5 baseball teams- 2 of which are still playing. In the fall, he starts soccer and flag football, and in the winter- basketball. Corey- she goes to Little Gym, which is a pre-K gymnastics/tumbling thing- she loves it and is quite good already. She also loves to ski and ice skate.
TheOaf66 replied: well Tanner is in t-ball right now but he doesn't really like it so I am hopin next year he can play football (I hope he loves that)
Momof3inMe replied: Both of the boys did baseball. In the fall Tyler will do whatever sport he wants at school. Carter is not sure what he wants to do this fall. I like them both to be doing something.
Em is going to start pre school this fall and if things go well with that then we will do soemthing else.
jaytrevjax replied: All three were in swimming lessons this year, Jaydan did coach pitch baseball, and soccer in the fall, and this is Trevor's first year of soccer, but not old enough for baseball yet!
Boo&BugsMom replied: He was also in swimming at our local Y, but he had a really bad teacher that couldn't hold any of the kids attention, so we haven't taken him back. He likes T-Ball in general, I just think he gets bored when he's not batting or running. Being that he is only 4, he doesn't understand the objectives of the game, so he gets bored. It's just not for him right now.
Boo&BugsMom replied: Oh, we take Tanner to Awana at our church too. He loves that!!! Can't wait til this fall to sign him up for the second year of Cubbies!
Kaitlin'smom replied: oh ya in in the fall she will most likley take some swimming lessons, and I need to find someplace to help her learn to ride, as she has her pony at grandmas house and she is ready to ride.
mammag replied: All the older three are in Jiu-Jitsu though Cade is the only one who is really gungho into it. Kristen also does figure skating classes.
