What kind of diapers - do you use?

We always buy Pampers Crusiers, but this weekend MIL gave us a pack of luvs that she found on sale, and I have never used these before now.

I've used Luvs before - my fav brand is the teddy bear one from walmart.

coasterqueen replied: I have tried lots of brands and Pampers are my fav hands down! I use Pampers Swaddlers for the tiny tots and Pampers Cruisers when they get more mobile.

5littleladies replied: When we have kids in diapers we usually use Huggies. They seem to work pretty well for us so I haven't done much shopping around.

RayaJoysmommy replied: We used several brands when at first with Raya. I don't care for Huggies but the white cloud diapers from walmart seem to work really well for her. I also like Luvs now that she is bigger. Not so great when she was a newborn though. Luvs seem to be made a little bigger so if you are haveing leakage issues try Luvs.

mom2tripp replied: When Tripp was born I used Pampers Swaddlers, then I tried the cheap Sam's club brand which worked really well, and I just bought Huggies because they were on sale and I LOVE THEM. They are sorta like Pampers because they are really soft with the expandable velcro sides and Tripp never leaks out of them which is AWESOME. I put one on him at 7 at night and he doesn't get up until 630 the next morning and he's dry as a bone!!!!

Maddie&EthansMom replied: Pampers or Luvs usually. I started using Parent's Choice when we are just around the house all day. That boy goes thru a lot of diapers. Parent's Choice diapers are nice and soft and are only $5!!!

MomToMany replied: Cloth diapers all the way here! I'm in LOVE with my diapers, especially my unbleached Indian prefolds! Oh, SOOOO soft & fluffy!!!

And wool soakers! Definitely beats the plastic, paper, & chemicals of disposables!

JAYMESMOM replied: I was a diehard Pampers or Huggies Supreme used until $ got tight. I tried LUVS and now that is what we buy. They are cheaper than Pampers and Huggies even without the coupons. I have tried the Target brand and was relatively happy but do not like the Toys R Us brand - they leak really bad and run really small.

A&A'smommy replied: when Alyssa was born we used pampers swaddlers we actually used huggies at first but I had some problems with them and then when she started moving around a lot we started using cruisers and now we are using first steps! I love pampers

Sarah&Mackenzie replied: I use Huggies Supreme and I love them. They are very stretchy and I have never had a problem with them. I didn't like pampers because they aren't stretchy enough. Plus the Huggies Supreme are the same price as regular huggies.

dolfinrse replied: When Zack was born we tried every brand of diaper out there, but the only ones that fit and didn't give him a rash were Pampers so we have stuck with them.

TeagansMom609 replied: We use Pampers Cruisers, or Luvs. Either or. I HATE HATE HATE Huggies. They are so thin and I dont think they are wide enough between the legs. We have had many leaks when we tried Huggies. My MIL works in labor and delivery and used to bring so many packages of Huggies home for us. They just collected dust. I still have them somewhere.

crystaljedi93 replied: When Joshua was born 3 weeks ago, the hospital put him in Pampers. By his second day of life, he had a really bad rash on his bum. His pediatrician had never seen such a horrible rash on one so young. He is a pretty happy and laid back baby, he only fusses if he was in pain or hungry. We keep up on the diaper changing really well, so he doesn't have to holler that he is wet or dirty, and with hunger, we usually catch that before he needs to fuss. Poor kid would really fuss in pain whenever his diaper was changed until that rash healed. Anyway, we had the hospital put desitin on him and a cloth bandage to keep the diaper away from that part of his skin. We felt that it might be the diaper. At home we had stocked up on Luvs, that was the brand that my parents had used on my brother in 1980 and worked the best for him. We also had received a bag of Huggies at one of my showers. When we got him home, we kept up with the Desitin and used the Luvs and Huggies and the rash went away. My pediatrician said she saw another baby born the weekend after Josh and that baby had the same rash. She hasn't seen any other babies with the rash in the last couple weeks. Maybe Pampers had something in them that the two babies were allergic to, or maybe they used some wipes that affected the two babies. With all my allergies I try to use unscented in everything and nothing floral scented, so we have Parents Choice unscented wipes. In summary we use Luvs and Huggies.

mama3x replied: Cloth for awhile with all 3, Huggies for all 3, anything on sale for the older 2 but my 3rd pees soooooo much or somehow manages to leak everything except Huggies Supreme.

It has been a while but i used cloth at home and traveled with disposable, whatever was on sale.

~~AvaMcKaylasMom~~ replied: I like Huggies the best, but lately we've been using the cheapo Wal-Mart ones. They seem to work just as well. I got a pack of Luvs not long ago for Ava, but I had trouble with them leaking out the top in the back, so I quit using them.

same here i use huggies. we tried the luvs and they leaked real bad plus delaney has real sensitive skin the others would break her out. I liked the wal-mart brand with the ducks on them but they made her red...
