What is your kids bedtime?
TeagansMom609 wrote: I TRY to get Teagan in bed around 9. Although she usually doesn't go to sleep until 9:30 or so. Ugh...she still won't go to bed on her own in her crib.
jen replied: We shoot for anywhere between 9 and 12! ha ha just kidding she usually falls asleep between 9 and 9:30 and wakes around 9! I am so lucky! She has always been this way. When she was about 2 weeks old she would go to sleep around 10 and wake at 4 then back down until 8 or later! Everyone says my next one will NEVER sleep but we are so layed back I don't think it will matter much to us we just go with it, we kind of let her pick this routine she is in and it is working for her and us
*oh and maddy is still sleeping in her pack n play in our bedroom! She out grew her bassinet and we are thinking of just moving the crib in! so you are not alone!!
loveydad replied: Well Tracy's supposed to go to bed about 9 but i been letting her slide a little. Tonight about 15 past Kel walked up and asked me "is'nt it time to put her to bed?" I think she was annoying him. So he took her up and tucked her in, and I went to check - she's fast asleep! what a good girl!
The twins go to sleep about 9:30 (9 on school days) and the other kids just kinda go to bed after that sometime.
coasterqueen replied: I never tried to give Kylie a bedtime before 12 months of age even with the fact that I was/am working full time. It was probably around the same time we went to bed...10 or 10:30 pm. Sometime after a year of age we started setting a bedtime structure for her and was trying to get her to sleep at 7 pm and she'd fall asleep by 7:30..most nights not til 8 pm. Now that she's two and it came clear she wasn't going to sleep as easily we don't even try to put her down til 8 pm and she goes to sleep by about 8:30 pm.
~KARA~ replied: My 7yr old goes to bed at 9 on school nights and Maddi(2 1/2) goes to bed between 10&11. But she also takes an affternoon nap for anywhere from 2 to 4 hours
MomToMany replied: All the kids get ready for bed at 7:00 pm. Then the boys are in bed sleeping by 7:30. Hannah & Kayla nurse to sleep, so they go to bed whenever they are ready, usually by 8 pm. But the other night they were up til 10 pm.
3xsthefun replied: We try to get them both in bed by 10 P.M. it usually works out pretty good. I have to rock Maegan though before she goes to bed. I can't just lay her in her crib. She won't go to sleep at all.
Jamison'smama replied: We start the routine around 7:30 on most nights---lights out between 8 and 8:30. Jamison has just moved from our bed to her "big girl" bed so things are pretty out of whack now--she wakes up sometime during the night and either we end up with her or she with us in our bed.
5littleladies replied: We start getting them at around 8 and they are in bed between 8-8:30
Nicole replied: All my kids are in their rooms by 7:00 and asleep around 8 or so!
mummy2girls replied: Depending on jenna day...if she napped in the faternoon then she is in bed at 730 and then falls alseep at around 8....on her own:)and sleeps till 700am. If she doesnt nap and had a big day then she is in bed at 630pm...which means im up at 530 in the am...not so much fun!
maestra replied: Jaci usually goes to bed between 10 and 10:30, but sleeps until 8:30. Then she takes a 2 hour nap at noon. We have to have her schedule like that so that dh can get some sleep. He takes care of her during the day, and doesn't get home from work until 1:30am.
ediep replied: Jason goes to bed by about 8-8:30. He usually sleeps until 7am, but he has been waking up during the night lately for some reason
paradisemommy replied: Taven's bedtime is between 8 and 9 and will sleep until about 7..
alice&arik replied: I usually try to get Arik to bed at 9. When I work I get up at 5:30 then get him up at 6 or 6:15. Then when he gets to daycare he usually goes back to sleep for an hour or 2. But if I don't work I will let him stay up just so I can sleep in. And the latest we sleep in is 9.
I don't know what his problem is but he just won't go to sleep lately, and frankly I am just getting sick of it. He talks and talks and kicks me and laughs and it goes on for an hour.
FroggyJK replied: My kiddos usually go down around 8:00 and 8:30. Sometimes after a long day (like today) they go down between 7:00 and 7:30. They usually wake up sometime between 7:00 and 8:00 in the morning.
KCJIR replied: my oldest [12] has been granted permission to stay up until 9:30 on school nights. and 11:00 on weekends. excluding saturday night, he must go to be by 10:15, because i will not allow sleeping during church services.
the others around 8:45...really 8:30 but 8:45 sounded so much longer to them, so they are usually IN bed at 8:45, activities die down around 8:25.
the youngest its been so hard with her...but we can sometimes get her in bed the same time as the other youngins..
ctymom replied: My 15 yo's bedtime on school nights is 10pm. My 13yo's is 9:30pm but time gets away sometimes and he's off to sleep at 10pm. Which makes me mad b/c he's horrible at getting up in the morning. Definately like his dad! lol And Erica goes to bed around 7:30-8:30pm

Maddie&EthansMom replied: Maddie hates bedtime. There has not been one night of her life that she has gone to bed without crying and throwing a fit. Normally she is such a good girl, but she hates to go to bed. She is a busy body and feels as though she is missing out on something and she likes to spend time with daddy. With that being said, she goes to bed when we do (normally) and that is around 10:30-11. There are nights that I put her to bed earlier b/c I do like to spend alone time with DH. Lately she has been sleeping on a palate in our floor. It is better than fighting with her.
Ethan on the other hand LOVES to go to sleep at night. He isn't the greatest napper (one long nap and a few cat naps during the day), but he is longing for his crib at night. He won't sleep with us. I put him in bed and he reaches for his paci (the only time he will take it) and curls up with his satin blankie and never makes one single peep unless he gets hungry in the night. (which isn't often lately) Oh, he goes to bed at 7:30-8 every night. He will sleep 12 hours usually. Sometimes he will even want to be in bed earlier, but he will hardly go past 8. I'm so lucky.
MommyToAshley replied: I try to get Ashley to sleep by 9:00, but she sounds so much like Maddie. She hates to go to sleep and will lay in her bed and talk and talk and talk... and sing and sing and sing.... and talk and talk and talk... ask for a drink.... talk and talk .... ask to go potty.... and talk and talk.... ask for hugs and kisses... and talk and talk... ask to go potty again... and talk and talk... well, you get the idea. But, once she is asleep, she's usually sleeps about 10-11 hours.
Maddie&EthansMom replied:
LOL! That is Maddie described to a T! I guess they just have way too much to say! She will also sleep for a long period of time once she finally gets to sleep. Oh, and she doesn't nap anymore.
Josie83 replied: Cassie's pretty good about going to bed - usually about half seven or eight? xx
