What is your child(ren)'s middle name? - and why did you pick it?

maliksmommy replied: Malik's middle name is Gregory after my Dad:) We were originally going to name him Gregory Malik and still call him Malik but we thought that could be confusing when he gets older so we switched them around.

Shooter replied: Jeremy's middle name is David....I am a David, my dad's a David, my FIL is David...you get the picture. Also, both my mom and my MIL's first names start with J and my mom is a JD and Jeremy is a JD...it just fit all the way around. LOL
Plus, we were still tossing around names when he arrived 12 weeks early!  We had to decide on something quickly.
mummy2girls replied: jennas middle name is Lynn.... because aron wanted to name her after his sister because they were so close and still is. And i liked Lynn because my middle name is lynn plus it flows with jenna so nicely. Aron then told me his siters middle name is lynn also and my half sisters middle name also is lynn so we decided to use lynn. And his siters name is jennifer so jenna is pretty close to that. And i call jenna jen for short and she is called jen for short also...so everyone is happy.

Kaitlin's middle name is Nicole. A long time ago when we talked about kids my husban said if it was a girl he liked the name Stormy Nicole, I liked it for a long time then I figured we would not have kids so I put it out of my mind. Well wheni was preggy we talked about names and I still liked Nicole but not so fond of Stormy anymore. Well every name we liked went well with Nicole so we had the middle name picked out first.

~CrazieMama~ replied: Brianna's middle name is Danielle. I picked this name because the nurse I had at the hospital while in labor is the one who delivered Brianna. The doctor was too slow in getting there. She mentioned the name Danielle for a first name (I didn't have a name or anything picked out yet) So I gave her that as a middle name. Brianna Danielle S. Nice combination... My son Tyler's middle name is Tyler. His name is Robert Tyler K.
I like Tyler so much that I could not think of a good middle name that sounded good with it so, I named him after his father and game Tyler his middle name.

We picked it out right after we found out he was a boy--took a lot longer to pick his first name though! I liked the way it sounded as well as the fact that the character was so strong, kind, and loveable.

It's Paul Jeffrey (PJ) - and it's Junior, for his dad, who was in turn named for a uncle that died in WWII (he also has a cousin that has a son named Paul (but different middle names) so there were for a long time 4 (yes, four) Paul B's in town (confusing, huh??)
Leah Marie - Marie for my great Aunt, who, at almost 90 is still truly a hoot!! My kids nicknamed her Taint Ree -
Sara Jean - Jean for my mother - she was Betty Jean
Anders Jacob - Hmmmm......just because it sounded good together
And this poor new baby still doesn't have a middle name - I would love Grace after my Grandma, but my hubby doesn't like the initals then (EGG) Emily Grace......sounds good doesn't it?

I always had the middle name picked out first, then went with a first name that sounded good with it.

arik 's middle name is Harley after my dad. His first name is after his dad, my dad died right before I got pregnant and his dad died when I was three months pregnant. I like the way it sounds anyway.

Alison's middle name is Haillie. We were shopping for maternity clothes and DH was looking through a name book and he liked it, I liked it, so it stuck!!

Kirstenmumof3 replied: My first DD is Emily Margaret and she is named after her great-grandmother and her great aunt (DH's side of the family), my DS's name is Spencer Kimball I just loved the name Kimball and of course my little peanut Claudia Jordan her middle name is after my brother! Also her initials are CJ, my DH picked her initials before we had her name because he wanted to name her after the character CJ Craig from the West Wing! He picked the intials and I picked the name!
kit_kats_mom replied: Katherine's middle name is Taylor. I really liked that name but it was so popular and I didn't want it to be her first name (I was one of 7 Cary's (Cari, Carrie, Kari etc) in my HS so I didn't want her to have that happen.

We try to use Biblical names for the most part, but we have a few exceptions. Mostly we name our children based on the meanings of the names, and how well we like the name LOL.
