What is their fascination with - Dishwashers?
mckayleesmom wrote: I swear it takes me all day to do one load of dishes...Russell and Mckaylee are constantly walking by and turning it off or unlatching it so it stops.
CantWait replied: omgosh that's funny. Opps sorry didn't mean to laugh Ok yes I did.
Our Lil' Family replied: Same here, which is why I have learned to run it at night and load or unload when he is in the high chair or sleeping. If I even so much as crack it open he cries to play in it, which means SIT on the door and take out every dish he can reach!!!
mckayleesmom replied: Russell does the same thing....If he hears the dishwasher open..he wants to play in it....I put a fork in...he takes it out and throws it on the floor.....Or he takes the silverwear basket.
My3LilMonkeys replied: Ours has been broken for over a year and Brooke still plays with it daily.
redchief replied: A home appliance with lights and buttons all at their level of worldview? What's not to like about that?!!
Brias3 replied: Mason will just cut straight to opening it and trying to help "empty" it- even when its not clean!
luvmykids replied: Mine are always starting it, I haven't figured out a way to stop that. I hear it and think, wow, I didn't even realize I started the dishes, I must really be on a roll!
C&K*s Mommie replied: If you have a delay on it, you could set it to run after they go to bed & unload it while they are eating the next morning.
KingMom replied: Gosh Brianne, sounds like Russell and Colin are doing the same things right now
Colin pitches a fit if I won't let him climb on the door while I load it or let him push and pull the racks inside. He also is into the silverware and thinks it's funny if he get one and runs off laughing!
So we also resort to loading/running while he's in the highchair, gated off from the kitched, or after he's gone to bed at night!
I think everyone is right, the T2's are starting already
AlexsPajamaMama replied: We have a dish washer but get this....I don't use it. Its super loud and takes forever to wash a load of dishes. Alex is forever playing with the buttons and turning it on, drives me nuts.
salmndr007 replied: You know...that is a good question. I know when I was younger I had a fascination with fans. I would sit there and stare at them and try to follow one of the blades...hmmm...maybe that says a lot about me now!
