Jamison'smama wrote: that you have for your child?
kimberley replied: Lauryn Hill - can't take my eyes off of you
mammag replied: The song I used to sing to kristen was by Dolly Parton. I think the title was Sandy's Song "Sometimes I think of you, and tears fill my eyes. To think of the meaning you've given my life......."
The song that makes me think of my boys and get teary is by Shinedown "Simple Kind of Man".
MomToJade&Jordan replied: "In My Daughter's Eyes" By Martina McBride.
In my daughter's eyes I am a hero I am strong and wise and I know no fear But the truth is plain to see She was sent to rescue me I see who I wanna be In my daughter's eyes
In my daughter's eyes everyone is equal Darkness turns to light and the world is at peace This miracle God gave to me gives me strength when I am weak I find reason to believe In my daughter's eyes
And when she wraps her hand around my finger Oh it puts a smile in my heart Everything becomes a little clearer I realize what life is all about
It's hangin' on when your heart has had enough It's giving more when you feel like giving up I've seen the light It's in my daugter's eyes
In my daughter's eyes I can see the future A reflection of who I am and what will be Though she'll grow and someday leave Maybe raise a family When I'm gone I hope you see how happy she made me For I'll be there In my daughter's eyes
paradisemommy replied: Baby Mine..Bette Middler
mummy2girls replied: Thats mine also!
ctymom replied: That song made me cry the first time I heard it! I was pregnant with my daughter and McBride sang it live on the Morning show.
Pamela
loveydad replied: I sing that to Tracy all the time.
I've been singing "isn't she lovely" lately to Swimmer. We don't know the sex so if he's a boy there's going to be some screwed up problems LOL
superlydia replied: I've never had songs for my kids but my mother-in-law picked out Hey There Little Red Riding Hood for Shannon when she was a baby. I have no clue why someone would want that to be the song for a little girl. That just got on my nerves.
booey2 replied: Hi, I used to sing one of the songs from the movie I think it is "You'll be in my heart" by Phil Collins. With Thomas I really haven't sung to him in a long time. He doesn't want us to sing or dance with him right now, but he can do both for us.
ediep replied: I always used to sing "beautiful boy" by John Lennon to Jason
Mommy2BAK replied: "I hope you dance" and "In my daughter's eyes"
coasterqueen replied: I've just stuck with the traditional Twinkle Twinkle Little Star when singing to Kylie. Now she makes me sing that song several times a day.
mckayleesmom replied: I Knew I Loved You Before I Met You......SOUND GARDEN....But Mckaylees personal favorite is Old McDonald Had A Farm.
dreamweaver82 replied: i can't think of the name of the song but here are some lyrics "I don't need no one to tell me about heaven. I look at my daughter and i believe. I don't need no one to tell me about god and truth. I look at the sunset and i can see" also i love to sing Heaven by los lonely boys. I sing these now to her but when she was a baby she loved the song In the Jungle.....lol.
dreamweaver82 replied: sorry i noticed it and i had to say something.......it's not sound garden it's savage garden
Maddie&EthansMom replied: Maddie: I hope you dance and In my daughters eyes
Ethan: Beautiful Boy (by John Lennon and Celine Dion sings it beautifully too.)
Scotty sings "Come My Lady....You're my butterfly, sugar, baby" and Butterfly Kisses to Maddie
kimberley replied: OMG! i thought Jamie was the only weird one who loved this song! he used to DJ at the bar i worked at and always played that song for me
Josie83 replied: Cassie likes us to sing "I Just Called to Say i Love You" to her, but she kjust loves having us sing to her! There's a song by Staind called "Zoe Jane" which says something like "Sweet Zoe Jane, I just want to love you, the way that a father, shoudl love his daughter" and is a tribute to the guy's daughter . .. Jason sings this to her but obviously changes the name to sweet Cassie May (his old nickname for her) its soooo cute and she loves it! Cassie is always soothed by us singing anything to her though!
