What is the most expensive toy - you have purchased for your child??
mckayleesmom wrote: I would say it is Mckaylees Dollhouse. It came as a kit that you put together...it was 300 dollars....But its now probably worth over 500 or so. I haven't even finished it yet. I still have to put the roof on it. buy furniture and decorate the inside. I also want to put lights in it so it will serve as a nightlite too.
mckayleesmom replied: Also...we are hoping to buy one for Russell when hes older...but we want to find one that is a firehouse or something.
Edward's Mommy replied: Most of the toys Edward has I got at my baby shower before he was even born. And some were given to us by people whose children were too old for baby toys. But the most expensive toy I have bought for Edward was a thing you attach to the side of the crib and it plays music and has a little window with fish in it. I consider it a toy because he plays with it. I got it to help bedtime be a happy experience. But once he could sit up, he just played with it.
booey2 replied: I would say it has to be a tie between the PS1/2 and the computers.
CAMSMOM1 replied: All the expensive stuff was given to him as a gift. He got a Power Wheels Tractor for Christmas from DH's best friend.
But Justin did buy him a quad (ATV) for when he gets older.
MyBrownEyedBoy replied: I spent $40 on an exersaucer. That was the most expensive one. He gets most of his toys as gifts. I've only bought maybe 5 or six things.
MamaJAM replied: Hmmmm - in all the years we've had kids? Since money is often really tight - I don't remember ever spending more than $150 on any one toy.
Sets of stuff have added up over time...but not any ONE item.
dolfinrse replied: We bought Zack an Escalade Powerwheel for this past Christmas! Madison hasn't really gotten anything expensive yet.
MyBlueEyedBabies replied: We got the kids the John Deere Power wheel. Mostly because it was on Clearance when they brought the new model in so it was $100 off Other than that ???
BAC'sMom replied: Power Wheels Truck and Jeep $200-$300 a piece.
My3LilMonkeys replied: Brooke has a Power Wheels go cart that was $50.00 or so. We haven't actually bought any toys for Madison over about $20 because she has all of Brooke's hand me downs too.
Like most others, almost all of their expensive toys were gifts.
Boys r us replied: Depends, do you count the Computers as toys? They each have their own computer.
Other than that, it would be Tanner's Xbox and Braedon's Power Wheels trusck and his John Deer ride on tractor, all of them around $300.
blue72 replied: 7 yr old - His Gameboy and Playstation 1 4 yr old - $40 on a used powerwheel 1 yr old- $40 on a Peek a boo block toy
For all of them: My husband built them a playfort/swing set - I'm guessing around $400.00. A worthwhile investment. They play in it all the time in the summer.
luvmykids replied: Nothing really yet, they get so many gifts (they have FOUR sets of grandparents) I guess it would be their ride on tractors. They're not the power ones, they're the old fashioned die cast type, KWIM? I'll have to find a pic.
Edward's Mommy replied: I totally spaced out Edward's walker. It was about 40 dollars!
