What is the biggest age difference in your family?

for me it's 21 years with my first cousin. I have 3 other cousins in their 30s.

mckayleesmom replied: Most of my cousins from my moms sister are so much older then me. One of them has kids in their 20's. I'm 29. They are in their late 40's early 50's. My mom is the youngest child and her sister was already a teen when she was born.


My 2 oldest sisters are 8 years older then me.

My3LilMonkeys replied: I have a cousin who is younger than Madison by about 3 months, so 22 years. My mom was the first of her brothers and sisters to have kids and her youngest sister isn't sure if she's done yet so there may be more cousins coming!

danahas4monkeys replied: Hmm let's see my oldest cousin is 48 so 15 yrs. My youngest sibling is 19 almost 20 so there are 13 yrs between us!

amymom replied: Let's see my mother was born in 1927 and her brother, I think 4 years before that. And her youngest sister was born in 1948 so 26 years between siblings. My oldest cousin (on mom's side) would be 59 if he were alive and my youngest cousin would be around 20 so about 40 years difference. But there are 36 of those cousins.

Now for my children, my dd is 12 and her oldest first cousin on my husband's side just turned 50 and her third grandchild is about to be born, so 38 years difference. My children are the youngest grandchildren on my DH side and the oldest on my side. My husband's brothers have great grandchildren and my brother's are still having kids. My kids have a cousin due to be born in May and one who just turned 50, so that is a big difference. lol

A&A'smommy replied: hmmm 16 years my dad is 16 years older than his youngest sister, there is 10 years difference between my husband and his brother (its his brother William, Leslie, Kara and Jeremiah the youngest two are only about 17months apart). the biggest difference between closest family is me and my youngest cousin who is 10 years younger than me!!

bluebear replied: I'm almost 6 months older than my cousin on my mom's side. then in 1999 my other aunt had her first baby, my cousin was born (the one that's a pain to babysit) so that's about 8 years between me and her.
I'm almost 14 years older than my "nephew" (in my signature) and I'm 17 years older than his brother. They're the kids to the cousin that's 21 years older than me.
My 32 (?) year old cousin on my mom's side has two girls, I'm almost 16 years older than one and 17 years older than the other one.
Weird how both my cousins' kids were born 5 days apart from each other!

youngmomofone replied: I'm not sure how old my cousin is but her daughter is only a couple years younger than I am. My uncle is my cousin's kid grandpa and it was weird having her call him that when we were younger.

mom21kid2dogs replied: On my dad's side of the family, My oldest cousin, Terry is 61. The youngest cousin, Sabrina, is 25. My sister (the youngest in our family) and myself (the oldest in our family) are 14 years and 4 brothers apart in age.

Kentuckychick replied: My siblings... My older brother was 29 in July, I'll be 27 in October and my younger brother will be 26 in February... so we aren't very far apart.

Cousins... On my dad's side my oldest cousin is 32 and my youngest is 14. On my mom's side the oldest is my brother at 29 and the youngest is 12.

So we really don't have a whole lot of difference.

Of course there's not a huge age difference between my parents and their siblings and none of them are horribly old... lol. My dad's oldest brother is 54 and my dad (who is 3 of 4) is 50. My mom (who is 2 of 5) has an older sister who is 51, my mom will be 51 on monday (they're 11 months apart ) and then their youngest sibling is 42.

Don't worry about that, my aunt loved babies and she had 5 kids with huge gaps between them...almost 18 years between the first and last!
