What is going in the Easter Baskets?

My outlaws are coming back from texas today.. so they've got chocolate and stuff for the kids.. and my mom's dropping off some chocolate tomorrow.. so.. meh.

For us personally, Easter isn't about the Easter Basket. We don't want to make it a HUGE DEAL!! We are going to do an easter egg hunt for the kids after Church services tomorrow and we will have candy in each egg, nothing major just small stuff

As a kid I always got, underwear, toothbrushes, and stuff like that in a trash can not a basket. My Mom wanted us to be able to use the stuff I suppose

Kaitlin'smom replied: actually I was looking at it last night and I got more than I realised but have not spent more than $20! I got some really awsome deals she has things like a HSM alarm clock, HSM jump rope, bubbles, puzzles, kites, drink mix, glow sticks, very little candy, flower seads, new ice pack, stickers, pin wheel and a few other little things. I got her a cute little pair of dangle earrings. I did stick to very little candy she does not need much and she gets tons of stuff from other family.

I don't always do a basket either...mckaylee's first easter she got a kiddy wheelbarrel.

I found this really cute small wooden purple storage box that has a chalk board on the front, so her Easter stuff is going in there:
A little bit of candy
A webkinz pet (a bunny)
Bubbles
Some little polly pocket stuff
A toothbrush
A new journal and pen set
Sidwalk chalk
Two new chapter books
and a hola-hoop (that won't fit in the crate)

I got everything on sale and so Ididn't really spend much this year either (except on the scooter).

A gardening set (its got some flower pots, mini gardening tools, watering can, markers and stickers to go on the markers so you know what you planted, and a little basket thing that holds everything, its REALLY cute).
Seeds.
Bunny stuffed animal (he saw and already talked me out of )
A little lady bug and a little sheep bean bag animals.
Some peeps.
Oragnic lollipops.
Organic jellybeans.
M&M's.
Water gun.
Thomas the train DVD.
Bubbles.
Sidewalk chalk.
And I think I'm forgetting a couple of things.

~Roo'sMama~ replied: Easter isn't really a big present holiday for us. Their Easter baskets will just have a chocolate bunny, some candy and one small toy in each one. Allie's toy is a My Little Pony and Andrew's is a small helicopter we got on clearance.

Jamison got Pixos, an American Girl Doll outfit, 2 Cam Jansen books, a jumprope and some flippers. She is also getting tickets to see Annie next month!

Kylie got a ipod boombox, an ipod speaker for her ipod, a kaleidoscope, a little tablet/pen set, a DS game, earring/jewelry holder, 1 pair of earrings, a bunny earring,bracelet,necklace set, a butterfly necklace, some body glitter, bubble wand, chocolate rabbit.

Then they got punch balloons, money, jelly beans, nail art, tattoos and stickers in their eggs the Easter bunny hid for them.

My2Beauties replied: They each got a swimsuit, a little bit of candy, and some hair bows and ribbons from us. Then from my mom they got a day at Chuck E Cheese and then from MIL and FIl they got tons of candy This is why they get no candy from me because MIL goes overboard with the candy!

anyway they got candy, sidewalk chalk (52 pieces ) bubbles and I tried to buy one of those little pools for the backyard but it had been recalled and I was too sick to run back there and get another one. Alyssa got some stickers that had her name on them.. Autumn got a marshmallow bunny instead of a chocolate one and some peeps, Alyssa got a chocolate bunny, reeses candy, egg whopper which she doesn't even like peeps and some jelly beans but just a few because she NEVER eats them all and they usually end up being thrown away
