Not sure what we are having yet. I need to decide here soon.

Mommy2Isabella replied: We were just invited to a Indian resturant with some friends smile.gif

Our Lil' Family replied: Left over pizza from last night rolleyes.gif

PrairieMom replied: lemmon pepper grilled Salmon with steamed broccoli. biggrin.gif

luvmykids replied: Oh geez I don't know, probably something gross like hamburger helper. I'm too hungry to make meatloaf like I'd planned blush.gif

3xsthefun replied:
Sounds good. Have fun! smile.gif

3xsthefun replied:

I was going make hamburger helper also, but decided to do sloppy joes.

Twelve Volt Man replied: I'm making a late dinner for myself of garlic-parmesan chicken wings.

maestra replied: Beef Bourguignon

Dh and I got a sample of it from the Entrees Made Easy people, and I have been craving it ever since.

Did anyone ever use a service like that? www.entreesmadeeasy.com? It seems so expensive to me- ours wants $24 for an entree- that serves 4-6 people. That's just the entree!

luvmykids replied:
We have a similar place here, it's a little less expensive. But I found a service online where you can get the menu and shopping list, along with instructions and although you have to spend a whole day assembling, you come out with more food for a lot cheaper. I haven't tried it yet but I plan to soon thumb.gif

Oh YUM, I love Indian food.

I made fresh cod with a butter, dijon, bread crumb, caper sauce. I put it over blanched spinach and quinoa (yeah, quinoa seems to be our staple lately! happy.gif ). I was very impressed by how it all turned out! I have an inner Top Chef (at least I would like to think I do)! rolling_smile.gif

Calimama replied: Veggie Lasagna

maestra replied:
That would be better- I just copied the recipe from the ingredients list, and made my own version. But sometimes I would like to be able to just have a meal or two available in the freezer to make quickly if I need.

luvmykids replied:
I'll find the link, they have a whole menu of freezer meals biggrin.gif

Brias3 replied:
I'd like to see that too!

I'm HORRIBLE with dinners lately, what with the kids after school schedules and me helping at the school frequently.

Tonight, I managed to get both kids to play practice and Mason to soccer (it was FREEZING), plus make marinated pork chops, broasted garlic and butter potatoes and cucumber salad. That's NOT regular for me laugh.gif

may i live with you?
