What have you done/ do you do...

my2monkeyboys wrote: that most people would think you are "too old" for?
When we were in our early 20's my DH and I used to sneak around our neighborhood at night and spy on people with our binoculars. We'd dress in dark clothes and wait until it go dark, then off we'd go. There was never any good stuff going on though, bc at the time mostly old people lived around us. Now would be a great time to do it again though, bc there are a few younger couples/families and one man that is just a nut-job, party animal kind of guy.
Also, back around the same time we'd get with 3-4 of our other friends and, using 2 golf carts, we'd split into 2 teams and play golf 'n' go seek. We'd hide in our golf carts around the neighborhood (again, once it got dark) and play hide 'n' seek. We always had such a blast!

So, what have you done/still do that is kind of childish but oh so fun???

mckayleesmom replied: We did hide and seek

We did Ghost busting....where people would tell us about haunted places and we would go check it out... laugh.gif

Ding Dong Ditch.....where you knock on a door and run and hide and watch the people look confused rolling_smile.gif .......

Although I haven't done this stuff in years.....I would probably join in if someone suggested it... laugh.gif

Teesa®© replied: We called that Nicky Nicky Nine Doors... or maybe Knicky Knicky? I dunno huh.gif

We go skippy dipping and have done the "Body Bump" outdoors.

Um, we played Go Fish the other day, but we don't call it that when we play, we say, "Go F yourself!" rolling_smile.gif blush.gif blush.gif

luvmykids replied: I can't think of anything.....there has to be something laugh.gif

DH has a long list, like seeing if he can get on the roof without a ladder, seeing how far he can walk on a pipe fence without falling off, hiding in the bushes and ambushing us with water balloons, I could go on and on rolleyes.gif

~Roo'sMama~ replied: Lol, I never did anything like that when I wasn't too old for it! tongue.gif I sat in the car and waited once when I was about 19 while my friends smashed pumpkins... and all I could think about was the poor people whose pumpkins were getting smashed.

Calimama replied: DH and I are still super silly. He jumps on me to tickle me, we get into whip cream/water gun fights, we have silly little competitions.. nothing too crazy though.

If my neighbors were outside sneaking around watching us, DH would know. He has the senses of an animal. rolling_smile.gif

my2monkeyboys replied: Then I'll be sure to stay our of your neighborhood! I don't need any military man coming after me!! laugh.gif

A&A'smommy replied: hmm we have played hide and go seek with about 15 of our closest adult friends, we have done a good bit of partying blush.gif ghost hunting, Jeremiah and his friends have been playing with a green screen and making incredibly stupid movies... i'm sure there is more blush.gif

my2monkeyboys replied: It seems we all do "childish" things that are so fun, so why is it there is always that one friend that acts too grown for things like that!?!? rolleyes.gif

A&A'smommy replied:
rolling_smile.gif I don't have any friends like that blush.gif emlaugh.gif

Teesa®© replied: Oh, I forgot that I also jump in puddles, mud and walk through leaves wub.gif ... even if my children aren't with me.

~Roo'sMama~ replied:
Well that kind of thing I like to do, too. tongue.gif I guess I was thinking more along the lines of pranks or partying, which I've never been really into. blush.gif

HuskerMom replied: We did alot of partying. Sneaking out and going out to the middle of nowhere with a bunch of friends. There was a bluff we used to go to the top of to party. It was nice because we could see cars coming down the road but they couldn't see us. That was nice til some other people ruined it by setting a hay bale on fire so they flattened the bluff. So after that we found another spot in the woods by the river. It was always a little difficult trying to get out the woods drunk! tongue.gif We had some pretty good after prom parties too. Our senior year we were coming back to town after a party and Dh gassed his car too hard and it made me sick. I had been wearing his leather jacket and when he went to put in on a couple hours later he discovered I had puked down the sleeve. Oddly enough I didn't get any on me. rolleyes.gif All that was in highschool.

After highschool we partied quite a bit for a while. The night after our wedding night was new years eve so we had a big party at the hotel.

Since we have kids we're quite different. A few times a year his parents or mine will watch the kids so we can go out but not very often.

Teesa®© replied:
I never did parties back when I was a teen. I went to one once, and all you could smell was drugs so I turned around and walked right back out growl.gif

Oh, I went to a Bush Party once. It was a private one and you had to have an invite and it was being held by a biker gang. THAT I didn't know till I got here blush.gif rolling_smile.gif

You had bring your own booze and pay for tickets and the money went to something - too long ago now, I don't remember, but some children's fund or cancer maybe. I'd hitched a ride with these guys that I'd overheard talking about it blush.gif There was over 1000 people there and I didn't know a soul. The scariest thing I remember was this one drunk guy who decided he was Superman or something and tried jumping over the bonfire. It was like 20 feet high with the flames. Needless to say, he didn't make it. I saw him just before he was going to do it and grabbed some big guy beside me screamed at him about what this other guy was going to do and dragged him over to try to get this guy out of the fire. What a dumb a==. He was fine, the big guy got him before he got too far in. His shoes sparked a bit, that was pretty much it.

gr33n3y3z replied: The only thing I can really think of is
Out running cops on a dirt bike then sitting on the other side of the hill thinking come and get me bc I knew darn well they couldnt.
Its not bc we ever did anything bad its just we had to use a state road to get to a county road so thats how the story goes.
Would I do it today I sure would smile.gif
