thanks, but NO THANKS.
PrairieMom replied: How hungry would you have to be... hummmmmmm.... prett stinkin hungry, (no pun intended)
Not to mention, how do you even get your hands on a skunk? its not like you walk into whole foods and ask for one at the butcher counter.
Its just a bit to back woods for me.
My3LilMonkeys replied: Nope, definitely not a joke. I have never personally eaten a skunk but I know people who have. As for how you get it, well, the same way as you get everything else us rednecks eat - you shoot it. Seriously, where I grew up people will eat anything they can kill - deer, bear, quail, pheasant, rabbit, squirrel, possum, woodchuck.
And dandelion salad is quite good as well.
HuskerMom replied: I bet it doesn't taste like chicken.
jacobsmama replied: Now that is hillbilly! lol
ZandersMama replied: do u dress it in a tux?

Some of it was positively wonderful. I always always too afraid to ask what any of it was. Of course, this is coming from a girl who who hasn't bought hamburger in 6 years because we eat deer.
And dandelion salad IS quite good!!!
Celestrina replied: Ugh. Now I'm going to think of this thread every time I drive past a dead skunk.
