What does your child do - that makes it hard to disapline them??

She says it all the time too....sometimes she will just walk up and hug me and say it.....
MomToJade&Jordan replied: Jade does the exact same thing. I love you too Mommy and then gives me a kiss.
luvbug00 replied: Mya lets me punish her but it's when she appologizes that she makes you feel bad. she'll finish her punishment and walk over to me and stand in frount of me tears in her eyes and say somthing like "I'm sorry mommy I know i was bad and it's ok that you punished me and I'm sorry for doing the thing." ( she always says "the thing" no matter what you punish her for) gets me every time!
Ashlynn's Mommy replied: It breaks my heart when my baby does "the lip". She's at the "I only want mommy, and daddy" stage. So when her grandparents try to pick her up (by the way I hate when they do that, so now I tell them that they can't hold her) She gets scared and she does "the lip". When I discapline my 9 year old daughter, she alway's writes me "I'm sorry" notes. It makes it hard but I always stick to my guns.
C&K*s Mommie replied: after the girls go to timeout, I have them come to me so I can talk with them as to why they went there. Kellie comes to me with the saddest eyes, sometimes, sometimes she is oblivious that she was just in trouble, and comes be-bopping over to me. And I have to take a breath in order to regain my composure to have the talk. I want to crack with laughter often.
mammag replied: Keegan has this really sad cry (a fake one sometimes) where he covers his eyes and peeks between the fingers. It is the most pitifull looking thing. The other kids give in to it more than me.
luvmykids replied: Macie starts crying for Bogie, like he's the only one who understands or maybe he'll bail her out somehow. Cracks me up so much I can't hardly hide it.
redchief replied: The boys were never very good at deflecting my ire.
The girls on the other hand. How do girls turn on tears like that? It's like they have a button to push (*click* water from eyes).
MommyToAshley replied: Ashley will pout, or if she cries, she will say "I can't stop crying" and start sobbing. She will also do the "I love you Mommy"
We took Ashley to see the movie Cars yesterday and in the parking lot on the way to the car, Rod disciplined her. He told her that she couldn't go outside and play when she got home as punishment. We reached our car and I asked her to get into the car and she crossed her arms and looked at me and said, "I am upset with both of you right now" and then turned her head away from me. I couldn't help but to bust out laughing. DH just gave me the look, like don't laugh at her, but I couldn't help it... it was too funny!
mckayleesmom replied: LOL....Mckaylee trys that too...she tells me.... "You make me angwee"
luvmykids replied: Colt has this new thing of crossing his arms and saying "Mom, I'm not gonna talk about this right now"
MomToJade&Jordan replied: Oh the drama I would have busted up too.
Jade does the I can't stop crying too.
Maddie&EthansMom replied: Awwwww! She's such a sweetie.
Maddie does that AFTER I discipline her. Right now I'm not finding it hard to discipline either of them. They are being so defiant.
Nina J replied: When Emily gets a time out she sometimes asks "Why are you doing this?", in a really sad voice. She acts like I'm about to kill her or something, but usually she just goes with it and doesn't complain about being punished.
moped replied: Oh dear....he will walk up to me and touch my face and look at me with those huge blue eyes and say...Mommy so pretty........UGH,
boyohboyohboy replied: caleb is trying so hard to be independant now, that his eyes swell up with tears and his mouth is a complete upside down "U" and he look so sad, but he doesnt let the tears fall..... i just want to hug him. and he always says, do you love me when I am bad?
TheOaf66 replied: Tanner says he is sorry and then tries to give you a kiss and a hug, or he tries to debate with u and it is cute the way his mind scrambles for things to say and a lot of the time they make sense.
