What do your call "Grandma"

Both DH grandma and my grandma are both caled GRANNY and DH mom is jut grandma.


So we have Mamal, Granny, Granny, and Grandma. All of the grandpas are just Papa! Easy enough.

When my kids were little they used to call my dad PeePaw!! hehehe

Then we have a few Grampa's, a Poppy, and a Grampy.

have not deciced on dh's grandparents that live in florida, I guess they will also be grandma and grandpa

I thought we had this figured out but after talking with my hubby last night I guess not. I guess his mother and stepdad want to be called grandma and grandpa, so now whe dont know what to call his grandparents, DH called them mom & dad. His mother told him that we should be mommy and daddy and keep them mom and dad! I said no way we had this discussion before even way before we had a baby, I told him if I ever got preganant they would have to be called somthing other than mom and dad, I will not confuse her, we are her mom and dad. He had agreed now we have then (well her) siging cards mom and dad, and call her self mom but she will call him gradpa! ACK! So now I have no idea what to call them, and sugestions?

at least my parents were easy they are oma & opa and have been for 14 1/2 years!

My parents are mami and papi (french)

dh's father and stepmom are grandma and grandpa Martin

dh's mother is grandma Patty

Aidan also has 3 great grandmothers....

dh's grandmother is known as Granny
the other as grandma Elouise...or Cri-Cri (Cree-Cree)

and mine is Grandmaman or Grandmonster (she's not the cuddliest woman in the world)

Thats what we call them....but I guess we'll have to wait and see what names Aidan comes up with when he's alittle older.....I can't wait!!
