What do you think of these names so far?

I like them all too, but not a huge fan of Eli. I do LOVE Elijah though.

To clarify, if Troy would have gotten his way Aiden would have actually been named Elijah. As much as I liked the meaning (Armor of God, I think), I really wasn't tickled about the name myself. I can't name a kid solely based on the meaning. Troy wanted Elijah so he could call him Eli. Guess who won???

I like all of them, except for Ethan. BEFORE anyone asks...I don't mind the name itself...it just reminds me of this little boy in Tanner's class that is a hellion. I like the name, just not the thoughts that come with it.

I also liked the name Carter when we were looking at names.

I like all of them you mentioned. I like the name Elijah, or Eli, but I just didn't want to use it myself.

Denise, I knew we HAD to have easily pronounced names...we live in the backwoods of Alabama, after all You'd be surprised how badly people can butcher names here. For instance, Richard's father's name is Ira C. He was called that by his parents. Well, gues how it got messed up? People wouldn't say "Ira" right, and now he is known all over as R.C. Try saying Ira C/ With really southern accent, and you can see what happened...

I like the name Silas for a boy, Evan Silas sounds kind of nice. I think anyway Oliver is nice, too.
