What do you think?

Danalana wrote: I am supposed to find out the gender 5 weeks from today. BUT, I could find out earlier, if I wanted to. There is a man who is certified in sonography and has his own equipment...he works very close to where I live. A friend of mine's Dr. recommended him to her and said she has only known him to miss the gender once...he has done hundreds. I mean, I know 5 weeks isn't that long, but I am not the most patient person in the world. If you couldhave found out (or could now) earlier, would you? Oh, I should mention that he only charges $35!

lovemy2 replied: I would be leary of having anyone but my own MD do any kind of ultrasound, etc. etc. on me when I was preg.....as hard as it is to wait, I would IMO

moped replied: Save your money and wait the 5 weeks! I am impatient too but you can do it

Danalana replied: It seems like forever away...

moped replied: Trust me I know ,but it really isn't!!!

mummy2girls replied: but keep in mind that if you are to early along you may still not know. you have to be at a certain week to really be positive. because if you are only 13 weeks that is too early

My3LilMonkeys replied: I would probably wait, as hard as that would be. 13 weeks is pretty early, and I wouldn't want to take the chance of wasting the $$ because it was still too early to tell.

Danalana replied: Oh, I know...i am supposed to have it done at my dr's when i am 18 1/2 weeks. i wouldn't have it done any earlier that at least 16 weeks. So, I wasn't planning on going today laugh.gif

Mommy2Isabella replied: I know how you feel, I am ITCHING to know ... I was the same way with Bella, I wanted to know so I could start decorating!!

A&A'smommy replied: well I'm like you extremely impatient.... I would just wait until my next u/s at the dr.

Calimama replied:
Same here!! blink.gif

PrairieMom replied: At 13 weeks things may still be hard to see in there. If he is certified and that is what he does for a living or what ever, for $35, I would be all over it, but not until I was at least 16 or so weeks.

mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied: I wouldn't. Even those 3-D sonos sorta scare me. Just too advanced. I did find out what I was having with both PGs, but only by my doc. It will be here before you know it.
