What do you do with your change?
MommyToAshley wrote: I do a little of all the above.
momof2girls replied: All the pennies except for a few go into a lil bank... when it gets full we roll them up. The other money mostly I spend!!!
Maddie&EthansMom replied: It is EVERYWHERE! But, I am getting better. DH taught Maddie that if she finds money lying around to go put it in her piggy bank. She does really well. I'm glad b/c with Ethan about to be crawling around....
paradisemommy replied: it all goes into taven's account. we have tons because i've been selling ice cakes (frozen kool-aide) to the kids around here and so we always have lots of change around. i put it in a bag when we have A LOT and put it in his account. i figure when it gets to be a pretty fair amount, i'll move it into a CD.
Josie83 replied: We either take it to the bank or Jason and his brother Blaise mess about playing poker with it!! xx
amynicole21 replied: Most of mine stays in my wallet until I spend it, but DH puts his in Sophia's piggy bank. We haven't cashed it in yet, but she's probably got about $50 bucks in there
mummy2girls replied: I drop it into jennas piggy and then when it gets full i roll it and then put it into her savings account...it adds up really fast!
Elle replied: Generally I do the 2nd one, but we have to divide the change in 3 parts, one for each piggy bank.
ediep replied: I usually just leave it it my wallet and spend it. Sometimes, when Dh empties his pockets we put it in Jason's piggy bank
maestra replied: We always put all of our change in Jaci's piggy bank. We recently went and cashed it in, and there was $161 in there! I didn't realize we had saved so much!
Kaitlin'smom replied: mostly saved sometimes spent, Kaitlin has also been showen to put money in her bank when ever she gets change, which is alot. She has a JIANT Coke-a Cola bank I did cash some in alread it was $70 and I put it in her account, and she has tons more in there probably about another $100 worth or so.
3_call_me_mama replied: We really can't do mucch with it beause as soon as cameron hears or sees change he coming running adn declares "oh yeah! a money for my pig, I feed my pig!" My MIL has taught him to go into people's purses and take their change ! Which actually REALLY IRRITATES ME! (I think it's rude ) She thinks it's funny!
coasterqueen replied: We keep some in our cars because I work downtown and sometimes we have to plug the meters. Otherwise all of our change goes in Kylie's piggy bank and when it's full we cash it in and put it in her savings account. It's just another way to help us save for her..it's not a lot..maybe $50 every few months..but it helps.
ctymom replied: We set our spare change aside for times when the icecream truck is up the road, money for the pool, or during school days when I get up too late to make lunch. So it's for the kids odds and ends when they need it.
Otherwise, alot of change gets put into wrappers and deposited into their bank accounts.

dolfinrse replied: DH and I collect our change and cash it in every few months. Then we usually take it to Atlantic City as money we didn't count on. It is our time to get away for a few hours.
A&A'smommy replied: well I use to save it in this hollow book I have but since we moved in with other people eveyone has been wanting to spend it so I hid it in a wipe box that I don't use In Alyssas room LOL and the rest goes either in my purse or in the console in my car.
MomToMany replied: We just put it in a piggy bank and leave it there. If we need change for something, we just dip into it. When it gets full, we'll probably take it to the bank and put it in the kids' savings accounts.
Heather replied: We give it to Alison to feed her piggy bank. When it gets full we cash it in and put it in her savings. Every week we give her 10$ of quarters just so she can feed her piggy. So on top of that, we have saved $1000 in 18 months in just change. It is so great!!
Boys r us replied: We have one of those huge casino cups on our dresser and we drop our change in it when we come home each day. It fills up pretty quickly..well, except for my occaisional dipping into it when Tanner needs milk money or something! When it's full we take it to Kroger and dump it into the coinstar.
booey2 replied: We put it in different cups/jars and roll it up about twice a year around Christmas and our vacation and use it for whatever we need at that time. The kids grab any change they can get their hands on and put it in their banks.
