What did you want to - be growing up....
kayla's mama wrote: Ever since I was 15 I wanted to be a Marine Biologist or a dolphin trainer. There's no ocean near Missouri and going to a coastal school cost to much money
Just wondering if anyone followed their dream from when you were younger!!!!
mckayleesmom replied: I wanted to go into Marine biology as well....or a vet....maybe work at the zoo.
moped replied: Oh many things:
A professional scuba diver - almost did it - LOL
A clerk at safeway because I thought the cash register was cool
A travel agent - did it but not for long
I think I also wanted to be a mom and that is the best job of all
MyLuvBugs replied: Oh yeah! I wanted to be a Veterinarian from 2years til I was 17. Then I discovered Photography....That and I didn't do so great in chemistry. lol
mummy2girls replied: i wanted to be a vet when i was 12 and then i wanted to be a social worker when i was 17...
holley79 replied: I wanted to be a vet also till our vet had to put his hand up our horses butt. Then I decided that was no fun. (Age 5) I then decided I was going to be a horse jockey. (age7) By the time I was 12 I was well over 5 foot. Not ideal horse jockey material. So then I decided I was going to ride for the USET. NOPE, didn't happen either. I got to show with them but that stuff cost lots of
Well I grew up and had to think about job security. Law Enforcement was another passion so here I am.
PrairieMom replied: First an astronaut, then a teacher. By the time i got to High school I had decided to be a nurse, but was quickly talked out of that (thankfully) and talked into being a respiratory Therapist. After graduation I realized that it isn't my "calling" either. In my heart I know I was meant to be a SAHM, whick I get to do full time now, and I only work in the hospital part time.
mckayleesmom replied: I forgot..I also wanted to be a theater makeup artist and also work with movie special effects....still kind of intriging. I did take a theater makeup class in high school and loved it.
kimberley replied: a nurse or doctor
sunshine girls replied: When I was 5 I saw a picture of this really pretty girl in a big feathery costume and decided I wanted to be what she was. She was a Las Vegas Ziegfeld Follies showgirl, and I didn't become one. When I was 10ish I wanted to be hairdresser, and I wanted to be one until I was 17. Then I became a nurse, and now I'm a mom (which is the best job I've ever had).
mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied: Wow, I think we all wanted to be vets when we were little, huh? Me too! I cringe now at the thought of taking care of hurt animals...I hate blood! When I was a teenager, I wanted to be an animator for Disney...then college I chose 2D design as my major, so I wanted to illustrate childrens' books. None has come true!! But I've enjoyed my jobs so far, especially the one I have now!! And who's to say I can't get back into illustrating one day?!
coasterqueen replied: Oh I wanted to be many things: A lawyer, a paralegal, a SAHM. My dreams have since expanded but I'm too lazy to make them happen.
MommyToAshley replied: An artist.
The funny thing is that I had a chance to go to the Pittsburg Art Institute and ended up taking a different career path. Sometimes I wonder where I would be if I had gone down that road. But, then I wouldn't have my DH (met him in college) and have Ashley . So, I'm happy with my choices.
Sorry didn't mean to babble. The short answer..... artist
