What color is your hair right now? - For those of you that color

I've got blonde highlights w/chunky lowlights. It seems more blonde to me over time, though. I would like more of my natural color back (which is ash blonde or light brown)

TANNER'S MOM replied: Well I have been there a million times. I am lucky in that I have never had a bad experience coloring my hair my self. I get bored and I got red.. I get bored and I go auburn..I get bored I am a blonde again..lol

One thing I will say is I like the auburn and strawberry blonde to bring out the blie in my eyes. I was told when I went darker, I actually looker younger.

A&A'smommy replied: lol well I would LIKE to have maybe a light reddish color (that is noticeable) but right now its ashy Blondie almost brown with some blondish highlights and underneath there are some reddish highlights I for the first time in a LONG time like my natural hair color so I'm going to wait a while before I do anything drastic. Go to it yourself I couldn't ever do it because I would probably REALLY mess it up BUT I CAN do someone else's and it look okay.

It has been far too long since I've been to the salon...so my color is my natural dark brown with some caramel highlights that are seriously starting at my ears! It's so embarassing, but I just haven't had time or the money to get in lately. I'm making an appt for next weekend though. And I'll probably just do the same thing. Just more light brown highlights, nothing too drastic. I don't look good as a blonde. But I bet you would look GREAT with darker hair!

It's funny you said that, I personally like it better on the darker side myself, like Mel said, it brings out my eyes. But everybody else votes blonde for some reason, my theory is if I was meant to be blonde I'da been born that way

I haven't decided yet, I may go for a carmel color with some lowlights. I need to get to the store

Hillbilly Housewife replied: I've been FIGHTING SO HARD NOT to dye my hair.... i've been dying it almost non stop since I was about 13, and I've been through all the colors. This is a pic of my FAVE color I ever had.

mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied: Ahhhhh, I just called my salon and my girl is booked two weeks out! So I couldn't get an appt until the second week in April, after Easter!!! I even tried some backup stylists and they were booked too! Grrrrr...I hate when this happens. Now I have to find a stylist that isn't so "popular".

Did you buy a box Monica? I'm seriously thinking of doing it myself. I know I shouldn't, but my roots are horrific! I took the scissors to my bangs too...and OMG, I am not feeling so good about what I've done.

I'm trying to get in with a friend of mine who does it from home...if she can't get me in my the end of the week I'll do it myself. I decided I wanted something more complicated than I could do myself but I am DESPERATE.

If she can't get me in, I've had good results myself with a regular color and then using the frost n glow (I can't do my own highlights without the cap ) so for now if I have to I'll just do the usual My roots, my grays, and my grown out highlights just look horrific

I'm sure your bangs look better than you think, I always think I've hacked mine but nobody else notices
