What are your plans for new year's eve?

kimberley wrote: i still have no clue what we are doing yet unsure.gif . prolly just staying home.

MomToMany replied: Nothing yet, but we will be staying home for sure. We will probably stay up and watch movies or something.

booey2 replied: Trying to get DH to call some friends to come over as I am off of work on Friday. We are going to take the boys to the Science Centre here in town and then probably stay home Friday night.

Edited to say: I just spoke to my sister and she may be coming up from Cambridge with her husband and 5 kids to ring in the new year with us. They haven't done an overnight with us for over 2 years so this would be great. The only draw back is they don't know how to play gently with toys so I will have to put some of the boys toys away that we don't want destroyed. Other than that it should be a blast. We might go out to the zoo here as they have a children's countdown at 9pm just like the midnight one. It is just and idea I had. So it looks like we might have a good new years eve after all.

A&A'smommy replied: I am not sure yet... maybe something fun.. if my mom stays home I think maybe dh and I will see if my best friend and his best friend (who got married last week) want to go out beer.gif that would be fun tongue.gif

Isabellasmom replied: staying home with Isabella. My friend and his 7 year old may come by and some girlfriends but i decided not to go out this year

favre4fan replied: Staying home with the inlaws,dh and the boys.

coasterqueen replied: Traditional dinner at DH's extended family's house. Then later in the evening everyone usually comes over to our house to play games. We let Kylie stay up til about 8 or 9 pm. Then she usually wakes up right around midnight almost always and so we'll let her stay up for a 1/2 hour to hour and let her ring in the new year with us and our friends. wub.gif Nobody gets wild at our house...we are all a bunch of old folks. tongue.gif We never go out because too many drinkers on the roads wink.gif.

gr33n3y3z replied: I will be working sad.gif
But then I will be making money smile.gif

Maddie&EthansMom replied: Ha! Same thing we do every year...NOTHING! biggrin.gif

We were invited to my friend's 30th b-day that night, but they asked that we not bring children (obviously) We won't be attending. Who the heck is going to watch our kids on New Year's Eve? Bwahahahah! laugh.gif

Actually, the kids will probably be asleep when we ring in the New Year. DH and I will toast and I will give all 3 of my lovies a kiss at midnight! wub.gif

mckayleesmom replied: Probably just staying home...hopefully it won't be too cold or snow and maybe we can have a bonfire out back.

elvisfan replied: I think I am staying home. Dh has to be at church for a thing they're having and it's way to late for the boys to stay up. So I will have peace and quiet that night!! sun.gif

5littleladies replied: We have friends coming over to our house. We will hang out and play games and everyone will act dorky I'm sure. tongue.gif We used to all go to go to our church's New Year's Eve party but for some reason everyone started coming to our house instead. I don't mind-that way the kids can go to bed if they get tired. happy.gif

~Roo'sMama~ replied: Dh and I are going out for dinner for my birthday ~ we don't know where yet. tongue.gif
Then we'll go and hang out at Jennifer's - my husband will probably be the one acting dorky. rolleyes.gif tongue.gif
