TeagansMom609 wrote: Im getting back almost $3,000 and im having a hard time deciding what I should do with it. I know I have to buy a bed. Thats a no brainer since im sleeping on an air mattress. (Shawn kept the bed, I got the couches) I REALLY need a 4 door car but you cant get a car for that little money. Hmmm....decisions, decisions.....
What are you doing with yours?
loveydad replied: Puttin' it towards the new rooms and the new baby's gear clothing and ect. I need bunk beds for the twin's room too
MomToMany replied: Pay off bills!!!! That's IF we get anything back. We will see.
Jamison'smama replied: We always have to pay
3forme replied: We should get a nice return. I am SERIOUSLY looking into a trip to Disney World. I got on the ad on yahoo tonight where you can go for $1500-$1800. I HOPE I HOPE!!
mom89 replied: Hmm..I "think" we're going to put it towards a bill,don't remember,sorry.
5littleladies replied: We are putting it all towards bills, and now of course to fix the van.
A&A'smommy replied: unfortuantly we have some debt and it looks like we are going to have to pay a little state and I think we are going to save some and put it towards a new dvd player and sound system (they have a really good deal a sams club). Maybe I guess we will see
texasp3 replied: Well... I'm going out on a limb ASSUMING we'll actually GET a refund this year. Two years ago we thought we were good and owed $8,000!!! ACK! Last year we didn't owe quite that much.
So, my biggest plan this year is that the refund will be MORE than what we still owe on the 2003 taxes. How much more, I don't know yet... hopefully more than a dinner out... maybe somewhere in the vicinity of a decent entertainment center for the living room so I can stop fencing in all the TV related equipment with the play-yard!
party-of-six replied: I have to pay off the credit card and pay off the medical bills for when Mia was hospitalized for three days last year.....once that is done, the rest will be put into savings and held for investments.
kit_kats_mom replied: We shouldn't be getting much back. We always try to fix it so we get the maximum cash each month then we usually have to pay a bit. I'd rather have that $ every month to pay off bills than let the government use it to earn interest all year.
Josie83 replied: Our tax year is April to April and I don't sort that stuff out Jason does! xx
coasterqueen replied: Well if we don't have to pay we probably won't get that much back this year. If we get anything back it will definitely go towards debt.
5littleladies replied: That's what we do. We let the government have as little of our money as we can manage, and believe me, it isn't much! We get money back because Dh doesn't make a whole lot and we have 3 kids.
Kaitlin'smom replied: humm not sure but now that we get money back I take a chunck and put it in a christmas club account, that way i have money for christmas besides that I dunno mabye new carpet, another fridge, or pay something off...depends on how much I can squeese back from them
mckayleesmom replied: We already did our taxes the other day. We are getting back 3,000. I am getting new furniture and dh hasn't made up his mine yet on what he wants.
Maddie&EthansMom replied: We have someone do our taxes for us and we always get a lot back. She works exclusively with car dealers so she knows what to write off. Hopefully we will get more back this year. I'm certain we will pay off the hospital with it. But, that will free up some $$ to redo our kitchen and the rest of the house.
kileyjae replied: Well..I am getting back almost three thousand too, and, I HAVE to buy a car....my truck blew up last Nov.
The amt will may a nice down payment...but, I REALLY wish I could buy a dishwasher and a lap top.
I hate always having to buy out of 'need' instead of 'would really really like'
paradisemommy replied: investing - we just refinanced our house and took out an equity loan and plan on buying a new car and upgrades on the house then investing the rest of it so this will be added on to our investments
alice&arik replied: I am paying off all my bills at collections and those not there yet. I hope to clear my credit or make it look a little better so in the summer I can get a decent car. I am really hoping I get a lot back. I should get all the money I paid to daycare back so that is at least $1500. And with the EIC, I should be good.
Boys r us replied: We're not getting JACK back this year As sad as that makes me, I can always look at the postive side and think about the reason we don't get a refund. Still sucks! Before we got married I used to get back a nice chunk b/c I was a single mommy!
3xsthefun replied: We bought a Suzuki Sidekick from the inlaws and paying some bills.
~Roo'sMama~ replied: Dh hasn't gotten his W-2's from work yet, so I don't know if we'll get anything back or not. The last couple of years weren't so great so I'm not expecting anything. IF we manage to get something back it will go towards either debt or the rediculous amount of camera stuff Dh has to buy before he does our friends wedding pictures.
MommyToAshley replied: We don't get a big return. In fact, we don't get a return at all. Since we are self-employed, we have to pay every quarter.
akbutterfly83 replied: We are getting 2,000 back.... cause I didn't work all year, and we got married, adn he didn't change his clames... and he get's very little... like 20k a year.... due to being military..... and he had a savings thing... so they didn't take out anything due to that..... or we would have played $500 for that.... but since all that... we get 2k....
We are gunna pay a good chuck of credit cards bills off, that dh had before we got married.... and he's getting me some new clothes, cause @ Christmas he didn't get me anything, but bubble bath & anight gown..... cause he knew after Mason was born I would need new clothes......
aspenblue1 replied: pay bills.
