luvmykids wrote: All Kylie wants is a make up kit rolleyes.gif and all Colt wants is a gun rolleyes.gif

I was looking through their toys and they don't have anything really great/cool/fabulous/fun so I need help, I don't want to get a bunch of junk they'll tire of in a week.

And yes, I know how behind I am laugh.gif

Hillbilly Housewife replied: All we got for Zach is a GameBoy Advance with 2 games... but earlier in the year he got a guitar and a violin. My mom and mil are getting him a bunch of junk no doubt, so it's all good.

Kaitlin'smom replied: Kait is almost 4, she asked santa for dress up stuff, so thats whats she is getting several play outfits, wings, pom poms, and play beautie things, never did find shoes sad.gif she also asked me for a digial camera, so I got her one and then some clothes, bath stuff, cozy socks bathrobe......darn I just remember she needs slippers wacko.gif

luvmykids replied: Oh a robe is a great idea thumb.gif Where do you find them for kids?

Kaitlin'smom replied: I got Kaitlins at Meijers, but have also seen them at Kohls

Boo&BugsMom replied: Let me see if I can remember...

*Veggie Tale movies (2)
*superhero figures
*look and find books
*stock car racing set

There are few other small things but I can't remember.

Boo&BugsMom replied: If Colt wants a gun (not sure how you feel about it), you can look at the Cabela's website. They have all sorts of stuff their for kids, real and pretend. Not sure what the website would have, but the store by us has a bunch of kids stuff there.

Cabela's

3_call_me_mama replied: Each of our kids get 3 gifts form santa and astocking and then one gift and PJ's form us( they get our stuff Christmas eve)
Cameorn is getting Mega T-Rex ~the red one~ for his dinosaur mountain, a furreal newborn leopard (to look like baby jaguar form Diego), and a planetarium thing for his room (DH's idea.. they are big into the stars and it shows al teh constllations and such) and they get one gift form us... he's getting a playmobile eagle castle and knights figures. In his stocjkng he got random stuff ,and a leapster game and some card games.
The otehr 2 are not 4 or 5 so are not getting listed here ! LOL tongue.gif

3_call_me_mama replied: OH and lilian vernon for kids (lilyskids.com) has robes VERY CUTE!! ANd they are personalized. MIL got each of our one when teh turn 2. You can order until teh 21st to get Christmas delivery I believe.

punkeemunkee'smom replied: Tay is getting all Ballet or 12 Dancing Princesses stuff-with the exception of one My Little Pony she asked for...I think this age is pretty cool because they can really voice what they want or are interested in. I got her a spanish workbook too because she wants to learn Spanish and some stocking stuffer things. She loves make-up too! LOL! I saw a really cute kit at walmart in the section with boxed git sets. I am a little nervous about this year-it is the least amount of gifts she has ever gotten but it is all the stuff she asked for. wub.gif

booey2 replied: Sorry no ideas for the young lady but Thomas has only asked for PS2 games, movies - Ice Age the original movie and not much more. He really isn't a toy kinda kid but he did ask for elefun
so I think we are getting it for him. They will both get socks and undies from Mom and Dad and a stocking. We still haven't done any shopping for the boys yet. We just celebrated Dh's family Christmas on Saturday so we were waiting to see what they got there so we don't duplicate gifts and they made out like bandits so there wasn't much left on their wish lists that we can get. Have fun. rolling_smile.gif

sparkys2boys replied: Cameron is getting a fur real cat, gameboy advance with 2 games and a case, construction set, army men set and accesories. Play cellphone/car starter, go diego go dvd, two outfits, pj's, there's more but heaven's help me I forget..lol

kit_kats_mom replied: Katherine is getting:
PJ's
A new electric toothbrush
a bike and stuffed dalmation from Santa
The electric company DVD
A set of magnets (she is facinated by them)
Play Dough

boyohboyohboy replied: caleb is getting a castle from little people that has knights and horses the works, thats really neat...and some justice league action heros, xbox lego star wars, pj's that glow in the dark. remote control dinasaur, veggie tales movies, new bedroom bedding of planets and stars, a globe from v tech that talks and has tons of info about the world.., thomas the train engines, i really cant remember what else...

the castle is the coolest thing, as well as the globe.

lesliesmom replied: Leslie is getting the Leapster L-Max (handheld game with TV Plug-in capability), an aquadoodle (ariel - but they have Thomas and others), High School Musical (DVD), and some games (Hi-Ho Cherrio, Candyland). She's also getting some My Little Ponies and the My Little Pony Castle from the grandparents.

Christopher is getting LOADS of Thomas the Tank Engine stuff, games (Ants in the Pants and Chutes and Ladders), some Rugged Riggz trucks and a Thomas Computer from grandparents. Someone (I think Toys R Us has black and decker tool toys for kids. Daycare's son got one for his birthday and loves it (they are cool and SO real). Hope that helps some.

ETA: Last year, Christopher got the Shake N Go racers.. those are a big hit. He loves them, in fact he and Leslie both play with them when his trains are put away and we have room for the race track.

MomToJade&Jordan replied:
Target has them for the kids and Toddler as well.

Jade asked for a piano and guitar for Christmas so I got her those things. I also got het the Leapster with 2 games and a couple of other things.

You last minute shopper. rolling_smile.gif

my2monkeyboys replied: From us, Will is getting a 4-wheeler/helmet, the Moonsand sand castle set, some playfoam, a few movies, a few books, a drum mixer, a basketball, Cars stuff (movie, sleeping bag, flashlight), a couple of Transformers, some stocking stuffers. He's getting one of those 9-in-1 game tables and some toy guns, etc from my parents, and a little kids computer thing from my sister. (Is he just a little spoiled?!?)
The 4-wheeler is an old one that we are actually in the process of doing a little work on. It's a small one, just his size. DH won't let "Santa" give it to him bc he wants us to give the better gifts! LOL

redplaydoh replied: Our nicer gifts this year are the Playmobil Airport and Airplanes for both boys. The Shake and Go Racetrack with Lightning McQueen and Tow Mater cars to go with it. Play tool kits with power tools and some Plan City things.

jcc64 replied: Corey's all about things pink and disgustingly girly/princessy this year. She's getting some Little Mermaid and Barbie 12 Princesses stuff. She's also getting a music box, some puzzles, and a Bratz soccer player doll b/c I want her to realize that girls can be more than just pretty princesses.
I highly suggest plastic food and/or kitchen stuff if you don't already have some. I have yet to meet a kid, boy or girl, that doesn't love to play with it.

Cece00 replied: Uh..lets see if I can remember it all...my kids are 5 and almost 4

VSmile
games for VSmile
kid sized real guitar
ben 10 laboratory
all the diego toys they make
movies (cars, etc)
games (ants in the pants, memory, etc)
transformers

art supplies

uhhh...i know there is more but i cant think of what else...everything is wrapped so its not like i can go & look at it rolling_smile.gif

Brias3 replied: Aliyah just turned six, so the closest age range to your kiddos. In addition to clothes and pajamas and all that good stuff, she's getting....

An American Girl doll, plus some accessories and clothes for it (the #1 thing she asked for)

A big art box I put together (I filled a pink and purple Rubbermaid with all the interesting art supplies and materials I could find)

A bunch of cooking things from Williams Sonoma- I found the cutest pink monogrammed apron, cook books and pink utensils and mixing bowls!

the Raph Lauren mini pink pony canvas tote for her sports/activities

the FAO Schwarz "Tutu Couture" set, which is where you design your own tutu

a couple of "kids" makeup items- I found some cute lip glosses and sheer cheek shimmer items at Target and put them in a little makeup bag

a few books, DVD's and CD's (specifically High School Musical)

That's pretty much everything she asked for. In addition, the kids will be getting a few big joint gifts- an easel and a ping-pong table.

MommyToAshley replied: I hope I can remember ... I actually shopped and wrapped everythign early this year. That has never happened before. laugh.gif

Ashley's getting (from Santa):

-- Kid tough camera and case
-- Electric race track - Cars theme (that is addressed to "Daddy and Ashley" laugh.gif )
-- Board games (connect 4, twister, Perfection, and I think there is one more that I can't remember)
-- Talking piggy bank that identifies coins (she's fascinated with money and counting)
-- Clock that tells time in english and spanish(I don't remember what it is called...telly something or another). She asked Santa for a clock...LOL!
-- A few puzzles
-- Lite Bright with extra sheets
-- Poly Pockets

And, I need to get her stocking stuffers yet.

From Rod and I, she is getting:
-- Princess jewelry box
-- Bracelet with her name on it
-- Marble run (she's always fascinated by this commercial)

I thought about getting her one of those small indoor trampolines, but decided not to.

She also got the Nintendo Wii as an early present... actually it was for the entire family. If you can get your hands on one of these, I would say it is worth the investment and I don't think they'd tire of it easily.

luvmykids replied:
I know, I've never been this behind before ohmy.gif ohmy.gif ohmy.gif ohmy.gif

Thanks everybody, you gave me some really great ideas thumb.gif Now if I can get to a store huh.gif

Boo&BugsMom replied:
THANK GOD, I thought my kids was the only one asking for this. This is the one thing he keeps asking for over and over! That, and the little figures. I have gotten him 5 of them, but whenever I go to look for others they are so overpicked. Must be a popular show.

coasterqueen replied: Kylie is getting:

Her and her sister are getting the John Deere Gator to share. Since we have a lot of land and no where for her to really learn how to ride a bike safely just yet we thought they'd love riding around the property in it. Plus I got it on a MAJOR close-out deal. happy.gif It will also be Megan's birthday present. blush.gif

From Santa:

The gator
An american girl doll knock-off and two outfits
easy bake oven
1 pair of pj's
1 dress

From us:

Books
Animal towel and rag
Leapster and two leapster games
1 dress, 1 pant outfit
1 pair of pj's
Flash light
Cherished teddy

(most of this stuff I bought on clearance over the year. blush.gif so we didn't spend too much this year).

Stocking stuffers:

Initial blocks for their room (clearance, lol), bath salts (she's in love with them), nail polish, easy bake oven cake packet, a few pieces of candy

She asked santa for: peace in this world, a dinosaur, a cuddly monkey, a big panda bear, pretty shoes, a dress, an easy bake oven, nail polish, school games, a candle, an american girl doll, and her very own ice cream truck. rolleyes.gif laugh.gif

Can't give her peace in this world, she is afraid of dinosaurs at nighttime, wasn't going to get the monkey tongue.gif , she has a big panda bear, didn't get the pretty shoes, got her a dress, got her the oven, got her the nail polish, got her the school games (i.e. leapster games), no candle, got a knockoff doll, and sorry no personal ice cream truck. rolling_smile.gif

Oh and her last request over the past two weeks is the Ariel Salon thingy majingy and well, Santa did his shopping last month so she's not getting it. smile.gif

Cece00 replied:
Oh yeah, my 4 yr old especially has been bugging the crap out of me for it. For my older son's 5th birthday we got him all the action figures and then had to buy a 2nd set for my younger son so they didnt fight over them rolleyes.gif We also own BOTH watches (2 sets of course) and now they'll have the lab. Although apparently there may be these little rocks you can use with the lab and I may have to go pick some of those up.

hawkshoe replied: I bought my 5 yo an MP3 player (disney one), walkie talkies and some power ranger stuff as well as some DVDs.

Boo&BugsMom replied:
Yep, they come in a package of two that you can use for the lab, they are only about $4 or so. Tanner really wants the watch (the actual Omitrex that makes the noises) and everytime I go and look somewhere they are all out! He has the Alien Viewer one but wants this other one for Christmas...UGH! rolleyes.gif
