What are you doing for teacher gifts?

MommytoKKC wrote: I always struggle with what to get teachers, girl scout leader, piano teacher, etc. I know I can probably just get a gift card but I always feel weird because I don't know how much it should really be for. Plus this year I have so many to get for- four teachers alone not counting all the other things. And I know teachers get a million candles, ornaments, lotion, etc. So what do you do?

luvbug00 replied: well myas teacher is leaving and everyone suggested mya write her a letter and we frame it. I'm also adding a pic of them inside. I think it's an awesome and sweet idea. smile.gif

boyohboyohboy replied: I did little baskets if airborne, hand sanitized with lotion...and a bow!

coasterqueen replied: For their main teacher the girls picked out these coffee mugs with chalkboard front on them (from Bath & Body Works) and inside has Bath & Body works sample stuff. I had coupons there so they weren't expensive at all.

For gymnastics teacher, piano teacher, and girl scout leader we are getting them candy that we made this past weekend as well as some cookies. Oh the bus drivers and occupational therapist will get this as well.

I let the girls decide this year what they wanted to do for all their teachers. happy.gif

Thanks for this idea. I just checked the website and those are cheap and cute! Definitely getting those for her teachers smile.gif

MommytoKKC replied: those chalkboard mugs are super cute! I think I'm going to get those for the preschool teachers. Thank you!

Sarah&Mackenzie replied: I got the Satin Hands from Mary Kay and a box of cookie mix from Tastefully Simple.

MommytoKKC replied: By the way, do you remember where you got Bath and Body Works coupons? I don't think I have any right now

MommyToAshley replied:
Here's a site I use for coupons a lot:

PrairieMom replied: I always send a nice box of assorted home made cookies. This year I am making a "green "recipe book for home made cleaning products that I am giving to family and friends, and I will include that with the cookies.

coasterqueen replied: Looks like Dee Dee took care of the coupons. Sorry, been busy here at work.

Yeah, the girls LOVED the idea that the teacher can write on their mugs. tongue.gif

A&A'smommy replied: I am going to make coasters (like for drinks) and paint her Last initial on it, and I'm also thinking about getting her a cup with a her initial on it. And for Sunday school teachers I'm doing nice ornamits. Those are ALWAYS my favorite teacher gifts.

lisar replied: I was planning on getting Lexi's teacher a gift card to the teaching store up the road cause she is always wanting more supplies for the classroom and she is always putting her own money in it. But after I am buying 99% of the items for the christmas party she isnt getting anything, sorry but I am going broke. (see other post)

Raygen has 2 teachers, I was going to get them gift certs to Starbucks, they both have starbucks in their hand every morning so I know its something they will use. LOL
