moped wrote: MIL called and asked me to do her shopping for my family too - so I need some serious ideas. Do far i have thought for Jack is a Hot Wheels track thingy, Moon in my room, and a pair of jeans....LOL

Laila - NOTHING..can't think of a single thing, and her birthday is a week before xmas....... tongue.gif

Then she wants me to shop for myself for birthday and Christmas

jem0622 replied: 4 yr old - dinos, duplos

1 yr old - any of the FP big items like laugh 'n' learn home, the ones that use the clear balls/blocks with things inside of them, pots and pans (snicker), cardboard boxes she can pick up and stack easily

jem0622 replied: Oh, if you don't have a play tunnel...they'd both love that!

mckayleesmom replied: Well..Russell will be 4 in January, but he is obsessed with Batman right now and they have alot of new Batman stuff out.

Hillbilly Housewife replied: I'm a horrible mother... the only thing I'm getting my kids this year is this bracelet/necklace maker thingy with tons of beads and stuff... that's it.. one for the three of them.. emlaugh.gif

moped replied:
Yes we have that and they do like it biggrin.gif

boyohboyohboy replied: we are getting andrew the smart and bounce pony, and it has a 44 pound weight limit so jake can use it too. and its also educational..

jake and caleb love the imaginex stuff, the castle has one for batman or else you can get dino's or the pirate ship, i like it because even though there are lots of pieces they are larger ones..and you can keep adding to it..kinda like a doll house for boys!

we are also doing lots and lots of legos..

AlexsPajamaMama replied: My four year old is getting
Art stuff mostly
Crayola

And there is a remote control dino for like $20 at walmart...I cant find a link for it though.

PrairieMom replied: Do you have a zoo or children's museum close by? You could have them get you family memberships for the year. Its something they can enjoy all year long, it won't just sit on a shelf not being played with, and it will stimulate their minds. thumb.gif I am really hoping someone gives my children the gift of experiences this year.

moped replied:
Have you already bought this thing? I have it and HATE it - it is silly and a total waste of $$..........

moped replied:
They get us Calaway park passes every year and I am getting zoo passes anyways......but yes, way better than toys!

AlexsPajamaMama replied:
I havent yet, its on my list
But if it is junky I wont waste me money

Do you..or does anyone...know anything about the color wonder sprayer?

lovemy2 replied: Dylan is all about anything with wheels - cars, trucks, etc. and Diego - I already got him a Diego toy and one of those lawnmowers which came with a weed wacker too! I am looking for some kind of car table - like a train table but for cars - anyone seen anything like that?

Olivia is tough - we are getting her a Nintendo DS other than that I am kind of stuck.....she loves arts and crafts so something like that for sure but other than that I have no idea for her....

We are cutting back some this year though....

ZandersMama replied: For the 4year old, stuff from Uncle Milton, its all educational

moped replied:
Step 2 makes one that we have - it is car and trian table - he loved it!

lovemy2 replied:
Can you find a link to what it looks like???????

luvmykids replied: My 4yo is a girl, so I don't know if that's any help laugh.gif but she is getting a "computer", probably the Barbie laptop or something similar, that has learning games on it. I've seen boy versions too, Hot Wheels has one. She'll also get some art stuff and a few girlie toys.
